Edgar Allan Poe, a writer who wrote about each of his greatest achievements and disappointments, had his life molded into each piece of his work. He was born January 19, 1809 and died October 7, 1849. Poe didn’t know his parents all that well, and lived with John and Frances Allan most of his childhood. Poe did not have the middle name, Allan, until he lived with John and Frances Allan. When he was old enough for college, he didn’t have enough money to pay; therefore, he began to gamble and lost all his money.
