I have never been good at writing, nor have I ever enjoyed writing. Writing is never something that has been easy for me. However, after taking this class, I have come to have a greater appreciation for writing. I have learned that in writing, it is not what you say, but rather how you say it. There are several important writing techniques and lessons I have learned in this class that aide in improving the “how”. In applying these techniques and lessons to my own writing, I have been able to improve the way I write. Some of the improvements I have made in my own writing have to do with sentence variations, transitions, and my revision and editing process.
