In concert, Selena’s sexy bustiers and taunting and her pouty smiles earned her the nickname “the Tex-Mex Madonna.” Mid-1991 Selena and Chris Perez, who had recently began playing guitar, they admitted they had romantic feelings for each other, and their relationship began. April 2, 1992 they got married.

She won both “Best Female Vocalist of the year” and “Performer of the year” at the 1987 Tejano Music Awards. Selena made it big in her singing career, her 1990 album was the first Tejano record to achieve gold record status. This status meant that it sold more than 500,000 copies. Her band consisted of her brother, the bass guitarist; her sister, the drummer; herself, lead singer; and her father as manager of the group.

Selena Quintanilla was a young, beautiful, and well-loved singer, that became the Queen of Tejano and I want to know how she got her success and the honor of becoming the Queen of Tejano and how she was murdered.
