How curious are you? Curious enough to go out in the modern world and seek educational, religious, or architectural knowledge? Muslims made a well representation of how curiosity can lead to affecting other societies besides their own in a positive way. Dating back to the first century, the Islamic culture was known for having conquered many places around the world and for advancing in scholarship in areas of the highest level at the time. Achievements included: astronomical discoveries, highly advanced architectural structures, a highly advanced educational city in Spain (Cordova), key discoveries in the medical world, a sophisticated trade route, and even created some artistical phenomenons such as the Dome of the Rock. Khwarizmi and other mathematician’s established major advances in math and astronomy which proved to help generations to come after their deaths, the achievements made by these scholars proved to be huge and a history changing element used to this day in the modern era of math and astronomy.
In conclusion, the huge impacts the achievements made in math and medicine helped shape the history of both subjects, providing a foundation to build upon through centuries later by rising scholars in the era’s to come. KAILI HONG PER.3 THE ISLAMIC EXPANSION The early Islamic empire expanded in a couple of ways. One of the ways was the war. I found this evidence in document A where it says that the Muslims to fight gathered together to fight the Greeks. The Greeks would tie each others foots to each other so none of them would escape during the war.

Hira in Arabia to meditate. There, he encounters an archangel named Gabriel who squeezed out of him saying, ”Allah is one god.” Then after, he started telling his family members but stood silent since no one listened.
The leader that everyone referred to as Mohammad had various things to offer his followers.(1) ~insert an opinion on this topic~ According to documents 1 and 2 he offered things to his followers and the leaders of Christian Arab tribes.(2) Document 1 states that , “Believe or else pay tribute [money]… obey the Lord and His Apostle [Mohammad], and he will defend you. ”(3) This shows that you are only offered something if you believe what he believes or believe in him.(4) In document 2 it is to be said that if you are a Muslim and you follow him you will be brought into the garden of paradise unfortunately if you do not you will be punished.(5)

The Byzantine empire was the section of Rome that remained after the fall of Rome and was a very successful civilization in its time. Each territory had their own inventions, but most of them were very similar.
The book entitled “Islam the Misunderstood Religion” written by Muhammed Qutb is a book talks about how the world, mostly the non Muslim communities, see Islam from their perspectives. This book means to clarify those wrong perspectives. The book can be read both by Muslim and non Muslim. According to my understanding, this book is divided into two main topics; Islam and ideologies, and Islam and applications. Islam and ideologies parts talk about how people correlate Islam with feudalism, capitalism, idealism and communism.
