Introduction
Terrorism is the most destructive force that combats and breaks the backbone of a country which is called National Security. It has severe dangerous impacts on national integrity national sovereignty and survival of that country. It burns to ashes country’s economic, political and social setup of country that is facing it without any counter measures. A country's political, economic, social stability and security situation are directly proportional to its development and progress. If conducive environment prevails in country, it would attract businessmen and investment. On the one hand, situation in these countries adversely affect Pakistan and on the other hand, injustice, political immaturity, educational disparity are arguably factors responsible for terrorism in Pakistan. Pakistan has been the victim of this cumbersome problem along with other issues. The wave of terrorism was initiated in America’s proxy war against USSR in which Pakistan played a vital role and supported “freedom fighters.” ("A Freedom Struggle Is Not Terrorism."). Soon after that Pakistan became the victim for supporting these “freedom fighters”. Following the event of 9/11 episode, U.S launch international war on terrorism in Pakistan’s neighborhood (Afghanistan). The roots of terrorism in Pakistan have different dimensions; it can be divided into internal and external factors. Internal factor have three categories firstly, political causes which include non-democratic setup, improper government setup, absence of law and order. Secondly, socio-economic causes which comprise of injustice, illiteracy, poverty and unemployment, food insecurity and dissatisfaction. Many acts of terrorism still happen today. Terrorism is the use of violence against a person's property. In the 1800's, John Brown was against slavery and fought for what he believed in, but his actions were violent and he terrorized many people.
