The day I had been waiting for for so long had finally arrived; the first day of the high school lacrosse season was finally here. That day was the day I needed to prove to my coaches that I deserved to be on the varsity team after not making it at tryouts. That day was a scrimmage at High Velocity, we were scheduled to play four games all in one day, against Saline, Okemos, Brighton, and Belleville.

Chucking balls down a lane at pins sounds like fun right? Well it is it's called bowling. It has been a fun game played by many generations of people. Bowling had a legacy of fun, popularity and has a lot of things to know about it, but it is starting to lose its value.

Softball is a sport I have been playing since I was eight. Running the bases is something I have enjoyed about playing the game. With my experience with softball, it led me to question which size ball would travel the farthest. Thus, my experiment question is “Which size ball would travel the longest distance when thrown?”.

Almost everyone makes a goal for the new year; not many people accomplish their goal. The people who keep their goal most likely had a plan for completion. This year, I have created a goal for myself; I want to challenge myself to be the best athlete I can be.

For a young baseball player one of the highest goals to achieve is hitting a homerun -for me that was all I wanted. I already achieved most of what I wanted in baseball, and one of my proudest was a no-hitter, but it was no home run. When I first realized how bad I wanted this feat was one night after a practice where all we did was just hit. The majority of my teammates hit at least one homerun that practice, but me I hit the fence but never was able to send one over. The car ride home after the practice was horrible, I was a mess. I told my mom, “ I’m horrible at this game, I get so close everytime and I just can’t hit a ball over the fence.”

Baseball can be considered to be one of the most loved sports of all time. I mean how could it not? The sport itself has come a long way since it was first developed and has done a lot on its way. From putting up crazy history breaking records to putting smiles on kids’ faces, baseball has done it all. From spreading information, to opening up opportunities, to influencing history or just a few things baseball has done for us.

Children at a young age have a lot of energy, To solve that problem, they are sometimes put into a competitive sports team. Many will disagree and say that this is unacceptable , while others say that it is beneficial. Children should be able to be put in sport teams because most children play sports as a passion,and it not only benefits them with being athletic and healthy, It's also favorable to children because only its a game, it also teaches children morals, and life lessons.

Every family wants to spend some quality time together; but it is becoming difficult day by day because of busy schedule of family members. Moreover, the most people spend their free time on social media and chat. There is no time left for the family. In such scenario, board games can be a good way to spend time together inside home. Among those, ludo board game is quite famous. This game requires more than one player, so family member have to get involved in playing this game. 2-4 players are basic requisite of the game; in this way, whole family can get engaged in one game.
