INTRODUCTION 9/11 is a tragedy that most people will know. Especially the citizen of New York City, United States of America. Briefly, 9/11 is a tragedy where four planes that is believed belongs to the American Airlines crashes the World Trade Centre (WTC) tower and the pentagon. The tragedy happened 11th September 2001 in the morning. Many people believes that the party involved were the Al-Qaeda terrorist.
On Tuesday September 11 2001, there was the 9/11 attack in New York City. At 8:46 A.M , American Airlines flight 11 a Boeing 767, flew into the north tower. Then at 9:06 A.M, United Airlines flight 175, another Boeing 767, flew into the south tower. Hijackers causes the 9/11. It affected people because a lot of people died that day and some got hurt really bad.
Not only did they lose someone they loved or almost lost their lives, this event affected them long term. Some have medical issues, mental issues, and emotional issues. The citizens of New York were affected severely by the event that happened on September 11, 2001. Out of the 2,606 people that died in the World Trade Center, 1,762 were residents of New York (Statistic Brain Research Institue). People not only died from the explosion of the airplane crashing into the twin towers, but had to make the decision to jump because there was no way out.
The morning of Tuesday September 11, 2011 is one of the biggest tradgies of all time. On this specific day four airlines were hijacked by an Islamic group that goes by the name al-Qaeda. The attacks took the lives of 2,996 innocent people, injured nearly 6,000 people, and caused at least $10 billion in infracture and property damage. These attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks, will forever be remebered as one of the most horrific days for so many people around this world. Initally, al-Qaeda considered targeting nuclear power plants on 9/11, but decided to go against it because they feared it would get too out of control.

This was the worst terrorist attack in American history. It showed that even the most powerful country in the world was subject to attack. This attack exposed the vulnerability of the United States as a nation.
Conflicting stories were told to the newspaper cover up the truth about how the prisoners were treated. I think the significance of this battle was that it was the most shameful and outrageous combat in the American History. Once the prisoners had escaped and was freed they shared the truth about the story. When the US government became knowledgeable about what really took place concerning the march, they were shocked and outraged by the brutality. Thurman demonstrated his anger by the dropping of the Atomic bombs.
Tragedy, and burning flames. Everybody remembers 9/11, and the day the twin towers collapsed into shreds. Bombers in hijacked planes, millions injured, and thousands dead enduringly. The beginning of the ending, 250 people on 4 hijacked planes that changed America forever. Nobody knew, it was a rude awakening.
Whenever violence is used the high moral ground is lost. The major goal of The Days of Rage was to stop the Vietnam War. They thought that the way to do this was to create mass action. They wanted to end the violence of the war with more violence. Instead of ending the war they just created a lot of damage to the city and got arrested.
According to Alex, the violent nature of youth in his society took away his free will - he had no choice but to conform and become just as violent as the rest (or so Alex claims). The wrongness of manipulation: Several people throughout the novel attempt to manipulate Alex's behavior – Dr. Brodsky and Dr. Branom manipulate Alex through the psychological conditioning of the Ludovico method, F. Alexander, Z. Dolin, Rubinstein, and D.B. da Silva try to use Alex as a piece of propaganda against the government's regime, and the Minister of the Interior attempts to show himself and Alex shaking hands as friends in order to undermine F. Clappers lace their blood with explosives and then clap to detonate, killing as many people as possible. By researching radicalization my opinion that radicalization is wrong, did not change, I learned why it happens, and was able to connect it to my life. Initially when I first started researching radicalization, I only thought that radicalization was for Islamic terrorists. Now after reading the news article, The Radicalization of White Americans, by German Lopez, I now understand radicalization applies to so much more. It applies to white supremacist groups, right wing extremist groups, and other groups that have ideas that are not mainstream.

More than 1,000 people died in New York and DC when the terrorist attacked, many of the victims were the firefighters, police, and paramedics responded to this event. There were four hijackers who were involved in this event. They flew the planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon as a part of their suicide mission. As the two planes hit the north and south tower in NY, a plane attempted to hit the Pentagon in DC, the result of the terrorists actions that day were that many families lost loved ones (9/11 Facts).
When they realize there is no one else around, they freeze. Police brutality is becoming a huge problem in America because, police don’t know when to pull the trigger therefore needing better training, which would then cause innocent people to stop dying, and police are supposed to protect not kill. First, police need better training so they know when to actually pull the trigger or not. Sometimes, police think that you are armed just based on the color of your skin. Watching the news has made this more apparent than ever, white policemen are killing black teens,
The 9-11 terror attacks are, unfortunately, a great example because of the series of fateful decisions that were made leading up to that horrific day. al-Qaeda literally means “the base” in Arabic. They are the collective group made up by those who hold Islamic views and all others who are in the business of trying to eliminate anyone who isn’t Muslim. Islamists are always trying to cleanse the world of anyone they see as non-compatible with the Sharia law; particularly Western culture. Some are willing to commit the most heinous crimes such as kidnapping or assassination or worse.

The Impact it had on the rioters was that the national guard and police arrested 600 people during the riot. “When President Jim Carey came into town when he was on the middle of the speech the rioters were about to start a riot and harm the president”(Donnie). These events made the Blacks realize we are hurting our comment and need to stop.
