They felt hurt because their family was in the crashes. People were breaking down and crying. Young people where jumping out of the window. Other people were just scared to see this happen. The government had to response because if they didn’t the terrorist will just keep on doing this and hurting innocent people. The government response was “close terrorist training camp. 9-11 influence me by all of those good Americans who died from the attack. And it also influenced me because I never got to see the world trade center in real life before it was destroyed. And the world trade center is something that I really wanted to see because of how unique it was. The world trade center is now a part of our history and will be in everybody’s hearts forever.
I think that during W.W.2, When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor that it was a terrorist attack. This event reminds me of 9/11 because It happened out of nowhere. We were also not at war at the time with Iraq. The same events that could relate to each other is They both devastated America, not only that but they both attacked us with planes.
Did you know that the 9/11 attack was not the first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center? On the 11th of September in the year 2001, Islamic terrorists hijacked four commercial airplanes and crashed two of them in the World Trade Center in New York City. One of the other planes was crashed into the Pentagon in Virginia while the last plane was driven to the ground in a field in Pennsylvania. 9/11 changed American society by improving security but also by increasing ongoing wars. Immigration and deportation were also increased because of 9/11.
America along with the other parts of the world have changed since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Our whole security system has changed to become suspicious of everyone. Traveling out of the country and even within the United States can be a hassle with having proper ID, passport and searches. Passengers can not have a certain amount of liquid in their bags if they are carrying their bags onto the plane. The arrival time is now 2-3 hours before the flight time in past time it was only one hour.
Life changes Where were you on September 11, 2001? Almost every American citizen remembers exactly where they were and what they were doing on that day because it is such a historic moment for the United States. America completely changed after 9/11 nobody’s life was the same, everyone from the President of the United States to the mailman felt the effects of 9/11, and that included my Grandfather. My grandfather is named Vernon Cotten and he is a judge in a small town in Mississippi called Carthage that has a population of 5,000. He remembers the tragedy vividly.
The continued threat of a terrorist attack has effected the citizen’s way they live everyday life. The aftermath of 9/11 has caused many citizens to become fearful. It also caused many to be more aware and cautioned of their surroundings to be prepare for any situation. But, it also caused many Americans to become very stereotypical and discriminate, which effected many citizens that are Muslim and Middle Eastern descent. The attack on the U.S also damage the economy and also changed many laws to protect the nation.
The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.
Nearly the whole country watched in horror on the morning of September 11, 2001. As the planes crashed and the towers burned, many thought it simply wasn’t true. They believed that it was impossible that someone could hate America that much. It was true, and it left lasting effects on Americans everywhere. Al-Qaeda had carried out a plan so horrific that it killed nearly three thousand people.
Just thinking that one of your family members could be dead right now if one flight wouldn 't have been canceled is kind of a scary feeling. 9/11 changed America forever and it will never be the same. Many people sat in front of televisions and radios listening hoping there loved ones would come home. Some even expected calls. Al Qaeda attacked the WTC for many reasons.
The shock and disbelief of 9/11 revealed that America felt that something like this could not possibly happen to us. It showed that the security of our country had been compromised
One moment it was a normal day and the next moment will forever be ingrained within the minds of an entire nation. The first plane hit at 8:46 a.m. and the second at 9:03 a.m., leaving 2,819 people dead. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as a day of great destruction, a day of great loss. September 11, 2001 was the day two planes flew into the World Trade Center, forever changing the way of life for all of America. After this horrible act of terrorism the president of the United States gave a speech addressing the nation.
The attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four planes. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. 9/11 Thesis: The lifelong effects of 9/11 are changes in air travel and airport security, changes in tourism numbers, and changes in immigration and deportation. A. One of the major lasting effects 9/11 brought was air travel and airport security. I.
It showed that even the most powerful country in the world was subject to attack. This attack exposed the vulnerability of the United States as a nation. The 9/11 attacks changed the country forever; some lost family members, friends, and those who survived are forever hunted by the events of September 11, 2001. The entire country was in pandemonium including my family.
There have been a number of effects on the everyday lives of Americans made by the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. First of all, United States troops invaded Afghanistan less than a month after the World Trade Center attacks to release al-Qaeda’s grip on the Middle East. In 2003, the United States troops invaded Iraq, which was not directly related to the attacks but was an important weapon in the War of Terror. The United States stepped their game up in many departments around the country. They upgraded the airport security, had a lockdown on immigration and deportation, and many more things that could ever be a threat to the U.S. and its
