Abstract
This study focuses primarily on the factors that can or that do effect buying of clothes online by the consumer . In the present scenario where everything is done online, buying clothes online has become very common. In this era there are millions of people who are using Internet and they can be the prospective customers for online shopping. With an advent in e-commerce, buying of clothes online is increasing day by day .
The study investigates the online buying behaviour of customers of age group between 20 -25 years while buying clothes online and are students primarily . There are various factors that contribute towards effecting the customers buying patterns and decisions and this research focuses on these factors .

Not providing proper and adequate product information and also the unavailability of the facility of trying the product physically was among the most important reasons people do not buy online.
Na Li and Ping Zang ( 2002 ) conducted a study and found that there are few factors effecting online shopping and they were given as website quality , product quality , product characteristics , personal characteristics. These factors had direct impact on the dependent variables like consumer intentions to buy online or not , purchasing attitudes .
