Technology has been with us since the prehistoric ages. Though the rocks the early humans have used have drastically evolved into more sophisticated advancements. Computers are everywhere, at home and in our pockets. The have positive effects and negative effects to our lives in our lives, employment, business, recreations, medicine, education, and entertainment. This is my view on this wonderful technology. I would be lying if I said I could live without a computer. They’re everywhere. Computers can take jobs as well as make jobs. It’s very complicated and well since I am here, I’m going to state the negative of this. Whenever something comes in, it comes right back out either as the same or something new. I am talking about pollution. The pollution from these factories and plants are killing our planet and causing global warming. Since there are an increase in demands of new technology and businesses, manufacturers release even more harmful chemicals and gases that float around in our atmosphere (Ramey). It makes learning something easy to access or fun to learn. There are many guides and tutorials on the web to learn many skills and set a student doesn’t clearly understand. With a simple click, they can get the help they need and thrive successfully, by coping down all the answers off one website or by actually trying to do their homework. Either or, the computer is a great source for information. Technology has also made its way to the entertainment business. It is used to film, create, and show off creations of directors and artists. My favorite example is that is used on concerts. Not just as a sound effect or play back, but actually dancing and singing on stage. I am talking about the holograms Vocaloid. With technology, even something from our imagination can become real. In conclusion, computer technology is a wonderful tool that can be taken for granted easily. It makes our lives so much easier, which is good and bad. It can cause health problems, take jobs, and pollute the air, but it also give jobs, cares for the earth, and fills our individual needs.
