The Columbian Exchange took place after Christopher Columbus's discovery of the New World, which took place in the year 1492. The Columbian Exchange affected everyone. It had some abounding negatives to it, but there were also some positives to it as well. There were many exchanges of a lot of different things. Although, the main things were diseases, plants, animals, and a lot of diverse people.
