In recent years there has been a big debate when it comes to the topic of gun safety. This issue isn’t just a problem in the Illinois or the U.S. but in many different places around the world. The main arguments revolve around the best way to reduce the high number of gun violence and accidental injuries caused by guns in the United States. The main issue I will discuss is not just gun safety, but more specifically a better solution to keeping kids more safe from guns. The big question people have the most opinions about is, should kids be taught gun safety at a young age, and will that help reduce the number of injuries and deaths in children due to playing with firearms.
Similarly, bettering the control of who the guns are being sold to would prevent the guns from getting in the hands of the wrong people. For instance, requiring yearly background checks for anyone who purchases any type of gun would add more control to these weapons being in the proper hands. In states that require a background check for all handgun sales, had 52% fewer mass
The enforcement of stricter gun control laws would be extremely beneficial for the safety of the people in the United States. Stricter gun control laws would ensure guns do not fall in the hands of people who would misuse them. For example, individuals who are 21-years-old and below should not be given the right to own or be around guns. For if they are not allowed to legally drink alcohol, how can they be trusted with a weapon that can easily take a life within seconds.
With all this responsibility, I want to make certain that America is the best it can be. In order for us to achieve the goal of making America the future it wants to be, we need to reform gun laws and assure that firearms are in safe and legal hands. We need to unite to stop the illegal immigration flowing into this country and slowly bring an end to climate change and global warming. Gun laws in this country are way too lenient and it needs to be stopped. It’s tragic to say that gun violence, such as mass shootings happen so often in today’s society.
These are the questions that some people have been asking. Just to be clear, certain gun regulations are necessary for public safety. Therefore, regulations on guns rights, such as for criminals that were recently released from prison or have committed some kind of crime of crime with a fire arm are necessarily for public safety. The second amendment does not necessarily mean what everyone thinks it does. The second amendment does not just
Stated in the article “10 Advantages and Disadvantages of Gun Control”, “ Funds could even be set aside so that licensing and safety classes are low-cost or free.” This shows the court could waste a lot of money funding gun classes when they could be funding something more important like schools or homes for homeless people.Along with this fact why should mentally unstable citizens own a gun in the first place. Mentally unstable people should not have the right to own a firearm of any kind. With gun control it could lower the rate of suicide with firearms.According to the
Gun control means control, it means control for the government and government start controlling the people, Gun control is a board term that covers any sort of restriction on what kinds of firearms can be sold and bought, who can posses or sell them, where and how they can be stored or carried. Gun should be allowed anywhere, citizens need guns for self defense, the Second Amendment provides the United States people the rights to bear arms despite the fact more guns equal more crime. In my opinion Gun control is not a problem, but to other people guns is an issues. To some people gun control is a crime issue, it is a right issue. In my opinion Gun control is a safety issue, an education issue, a racial issue, and a political issue among others.
The third reason why people either oppose or side with gun control are the pros and cons in the past, such as how many deaths because of guns and how many deaths for not the use of guns to protect yourself. Many people oppose or agree for many reasons dealing with the Second with what Gun Control is. Although most people can say they understand what gun control actually is, some people can not. Gun control is an effort to strengthen laws to restrict firearms (Zimring 440). These laws aim to reduce the criminal use of guns (Zimring 440).
Follow the gun safety rules to prevent damage in case of an accidental shooting and clean your gun regularly. 2. If another gun resembles mine, does that mean it operates the same? Just because guns look similar does not mean they work the same. Always take the time to learn how to handle any unfamiliar gun.
Rules on background checks and gun licenses should be compulsory. Supplementary, gun training and firing tests would reduce any possible outcomes of accidental shootings. The American citizens don’t want firearms banned from America. Banning firearms are not the answer, but the rules regarding them should be firm to protect all
Having an open carry they know that it could backfire on them. Being that someone could overpower you and take your weapon and that’s why most gun carriers still want to keep their guns hidden so that the surprise is taken to your advantage not theirs. Beings said three percent of Texas population has gotten their license and that’s still rising for them and all over the country. These are just some of the big gun topics that the country is talking about that really need to be cleared up with the public for a better understanding of how the gun law works and all of the rules that gun enthusiast have to go through and learn most people don’t realize that they go through intense training for this right and we are not uneducated about this
Mass shootings and large amounts of violence within the state can be avoided if individuals have the right to bear arms. The national issue of firearm control raises a point that the more accessible guns are to people, the easier it is for them to fall into the wrong hands. However, citizens who abide by the rules and do not misuse the responsibility and power that comes with
Gun control issues will continue to be a problem in the United States if things don 't change. Anyone that thinks gun control is the answer to the killing that is going on is wrong! Nothing will change until parents start teaching their children right from wrong. Gun Control is too much of a political something you do to win a battle or to get what you want and failing. Politicians talks about the need to increase gun restrictions to stop gun crime, but new and current gun laws are designed to fail in order to allow certain people to own them and make unhappy because of not having a vote others.
Americans feel safer having a gun at home, in some homes in the U.S. they own a gun for extra protection. A recent poll conducted by The New York Times/ CBS, shows us that Americans are less worried about a mass shooting taking place in the area where they live. Guns do not kill human beings; people are the ones who kill their peers. The National Rifle Association claims that stronger gun laws will take guns away from law-abiding citizens and might leave guns in the hands of dangerous criminals. Worldwide, there are not perfect regulations to control the sale of black market handguns.
I wish I could have a gun of my own to carry with me when and wherever I please. I’m against gun control I wish people with guns weren 't limited to their selection but also believe not everyone should be able to get a gun license and own and carry a gun. I wish the Government were stricter on getting guns. Not everyone should be able to carry a gun. But the americans who would pass the test earn their right to bear arms.
