The Industrial Revolution started in 1750-1850 in Great Britain by using their resources and money to change how products were created. Due to Great Britain's Resources to make and power inventions also Great Britain's wealth made it possible to fund for the inventions to be built. The Industrial Revolution caused many things including living and working conditions, urbanization, problems with public health the working class and much more. Although the Industrial Revolution led new inventions and innovations it also led to child labor and pollution in poorer cities

Ward states, “...I visited three cotton factories with Dr. Clough of Preston and Mr. Barker of Manchester and we could not remain ten minutes in the factory without gasping for breath.” Which shows the pollution in air in factories but people still have to live and work in horrible conditions. In factories there was all kinds of people and most of them got sick from the pollution in the air for example William Dodd states his experiences as a factory worker, “One Great cause of ill health to the operatives in factories is the dust and lime which is continually flying about.” which shows what types of pollution in their air and what is happening to the factory workers.these two examples of pollution both led and did not lead to advancement in the Industrial Revolution because it shows how they advanced to make factories full of inventions that were made by them but also shows that even though they made good inventions they were not able to have the best air conditions in the
