Personal Narrative: My Goals For The Future

For the past months I have been thinking about the future and how much closer I am to becoming an adult. I am in the second year of high school and the time is passing and accomplishing goals is necessary so I can be where I want to. So, where I will be in 5 years? Well, to be honestly thinking about this question gave me a chance to analyze my goals, wishes, and ambitions. But everyone has many dreams many wishes to do in the upcoming years. I also have some desire to do. I will fulfill those dreams and to became successful in all aspects.

We set goals because life is unpredictable, we must prepare to take advantage of opportunities that arise, so you will know where you are going to end up, or to have a focus on something. Setting your goals gives you clarity on what you ultimately want. It makes you crystallize and articulate the desires floating in your mind. It ensures that you are channeling your time, energy and efforts into things that really matter to you. It makes you live more consciously. Nothing is certain, but in five years from now I to want to be finishing Law school, I want to have a car and I hope that in this close future I still be friend of my high school’s friends. I think that Law is a course very interest and related with me. The type of college that fits for me it’s more related with traditional college admissions categories, but in my country things are different when compared with United States, as in Brazil doesn’t has those admissions categories I would say that if I want to pass a college with these type, as University of São Paulo (USP) or FGV, I will need to take more than 700 points in the Enem, in theory, any Brazilian university, either public or private, can use the SISU system and select their freshman class based on ENEM marks and 58% in the Fuvest’s
