This is an important group because they are technologically savvy and are more likely than any other customer group to turn to software and hardware solutions to solve the problems they face in their everyday life. The target market for my alarm clock application and ad-on is males and females that are currently attending college in the city of Boston. The difference between my target market and the addressable market is that the target market is young, so they are familiar with software, especially software that runs on smartphones. Appealing to a younger audience is a key component of my strategy because a majority of the target market are already familiar with software apps, like WakeUp! because they are used to installing and exploring dozens of applications each week (U.S. Smartphone Use in 2015, Smith).
Needs Assessment The problem I will be addressing in my paper will be Hookah use among college students at Fairmont State University. Students are also more inclined to engage in activities that could harm their health when they participate in large groups.
At the end, a sticker appears that says quit and gives the logo and the website of the antismoking company that engineered the ad. The commercial utilizes rhetorical appeals to draw the audience in, then persuade them to stop smoking. Quit’s aim is to reach older men and women who smoke and have kids. This is clear because they use a mother and child to convey their message.

I did not give A, because the information part was not perfect. If it could make bullet points, it would be much easier to understand the key information. The detail part font was too small.

Genre and Attended Audience: I choose an infographic that would be featured as an online magazine ad. I chose an online magazine ad as my genre because that’s how marketers and advertisers get their information out to their audience. The infographic is about how femvertising impacts sales and my target audience would be marketers and advertisers. The job of marketers and advertisers is to sell a product or a specific brand to consumers and make the company money. My infographic will show the marketers and advertisers what they could be doing to increase sales and ways to improve sales for their company.
