Ancient Egyptian symbols are called Hieroglyphs. The Hieroglyphs used no punctuation, and didn’t put space in between their words. There is no vowel’s they only used consonants. There are over 700 hieroglyphs symbols in the Egyptian alphabet. They used Egyptian symbols on tablets, walls, and on papyrus reed; (Papyrus reed is reeds that are flattened and dried to write on).
