In the study, "Barriers to creativity in education: educators and parents grade the system," 4000 K-12 higher education teachers and parents were surveyed in the United States, a full 90 percent of parents and 87 percent of educators who participated in the survey agreed "fostering creativity in education today will fuel the economies of the future." (Nagel, 2013) Traditional schools are the common educational approach and choice for parents who want quality education for their children. The curriculum and learning environment aids in the holistic development of students. Although the common drawback in the process of learning in school education is that it hinders the creativity and innovation of students. Both types of education will be successful if the students put in the effort to study hard to achieve a good education. Most parents opt for traditional schools because they believe in first-hand experiences and most parents work so they won 't be present all the time in the child studies. Homeschooling is for those students who are either smart or falling behind. These children feel uncomfortable like they don’t fit in and often get bullied thus they get homeschooled. When choosing the best-suited style of learning for the child, the parents must consider what he/she wants as well and should benefit them both emotionally and mentally. Nevertheless, both types of education have their advantages and should be utilized if it meets the students’ needs. They both have a similar routine, learning process and textbooks are fairly the same which results in the students acquiring the same knowledge.
