Propaganda describes as the deliberate attempt by some individual or group to form, control, or alters the attitudes of other groups by the use of instruments of communication, with the intention that in any given situation the reaction of those influenced will be that desired by the propagandist.
For the past half-century, India and Pakistan have experienced continuous political, economic, and military tension. While religious differences have played a role in exacerbating conflict, the information revolution revolutionized the way propaganda spreads between the two borders. The film industry is prominent communications medium in Pakistan and India and sometimes harms the sentiments of the people of both sides.

1. Saya e Khuda e Zuljalal (SZK)
Saya-e khuda-e Zuljalal is a film about Pakistan and its heroes. The film deals with a historical glimpse into the history of Pakistan India Partition and wars of 1965 and 1971 and present day of the new conflict in Pakistan. Glorifying the sacrifices of the people who gave the ultimate sacrifice in saving their Nation. the sacrifices that have evolved since the inception of this country up till some decades later.
The film not shown any negative content against Indians but they describes how Pakistani Force sacrifice their lives and how their families’ suffer in that situation and how worst conditions they evidenced while fighting with India. How the sacrifices result into the creation of Pakistan.
This film also talks about relationships, about passion for country and terrorist will get hooked off if Pakistani especially youth will unite in one nation without any cast, race and cultural
The Jungle was written as propaganda. Upton Sinclair’s purpose in The Jungle was to persuade the reader into believing that socialism was the best form of government. Sinclair did this by creating a large group of characters that the reader would get emotionally invested in, and only in the last few chapters did Sinclair even mention socialism at all. The definition of propaganda (according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary) says: “ideas or statements that are often false or exaggerated and that are spread in order to help a cause, a political leader, a government, etc.”
The United States is known to be a great contributor for the victory of the Allies during World War One. Not only did the United Stated join the war with more ammunition and a base where they manufactured war supplies, but they were also prepared with a military of over four million young soldiers ready to fight. However, a greater contributor for The Allies triumph is propaganda and the impact it had on the people. Propaganda helped convince the people of the United States to enlist in the army, it inspired patriotism, and it encouraged people to become aware of their enemies. Propaganda was used as a weapon during World War One.

This could be seen on how the British were exploiting the Indian’s resources and through cheap labor. The film reflects the labor of Indian immigrants in the scene where they were protesting by refusing to go back and work in the mines and were charged at by the British on horseback. This act of violent of the British in terms of unjust labor can also be identify in the French Africa “natives” who were legally obligated for statute labor, a practice that lasted though 1946. It involves the harsh condition of labor in the colonial life where British officials would make the native villagers work a lot and mistreated them in the process similar to how the Indians immigrants were being treated (Pg. 894). Along with this, we could see how Gandhi had dealt with the economic regulation by his protest of the British mercantile system.

Khushwant Singh’s Train to Pakistan recounts the event of the Partition of India, which happened in 1947. Set in a fictional village of Mano Majra, the novel aims to depict the cultural and political clash between the Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims and, by following the development of the characters, unveil the moral of humanity. Throughout the novel, Singh portrays the experience of conflict that each character, including Juggut Singh, Iqbal Singh, and Hukum Chand, has to deal with. Based on the characters’ development, Singh’s goal is to present the idea that love always conquers the power of violence and ethnic antagonism. Singh starts off with a description of the Partition and of Mano Majra, a habitat for Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims.
