This paper will take an in depth look at the American Eagle Outfitters Incorporated. We will explore the type of products this company sells. Moreover, we will look at the balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. This will allow us to see what their net income was for the most recent year, accordingly the amount of revenue earned. The audit work done by the Ernest and Young LLP will be studied. American Eagle Outfitters products include jeans, polos, t-shirt’s, bras, and panties are among their top sellers. The retailer sells denim apparel and casual accessories. They like to operate in malls to appeal to their core group aimed at young men and women ages 15-25 under its American Eagle Outfitters and Aerie brands. Their clothes are made in China, Guatemala, India, United States and Vietnam. Inspiration for my sense of style is usually derived from Pinterest, magazines, Youtube, Instagram pages and fashion bloggers. Some of my favorite clothing brands include; Forever 21, Hollister, Free People, Nike, Reebok, Puma, American Eagle and American Apparel. Flight club is one of the biggest sneaker resellers in America. Basically, Flight Club buys limited sneakers that are impossible to get for a retail price, then resell the shoes for and impressive profit.

After beginning to use high innovative textile for the sports apparel, the company observed an increase in sells which made it well known to sell globally from the North American market. Presently, Under Armour targets a wide range of customers with a business strategy to take over the sportswear apparel market. The distribution channel of Under Armour products is via wholesales and retails. Despite the fact that Under Armour is quite a small firm in relation to its major competitors, Nike, Adidas, Columbia Sportswear, and SportHill; the company has the aura of products being loved by athletes at all sporting levels.
3.0 Industry and Competitor Analysis The fashion industry in the UK, Europe and the US has several players who compete for the rich market niche. Compare to its competitors in the clothing and accessories industry, Ted Baker performs very well as evidence by its improved financial ratios e.g the EPS over the past five years. 3.1 Industry Overview The high-street fashion industry is dominated by several firms but Ted Baker is continually winning attention in that industry.
