In the article Zoos The Historical Debate it states, “Red Pandas died after ingesting rat poison.I can 't imagine how they found the rat poison. Also it states, , “Azavark have limited diet that zoos have a hard time fulfilling.” If they don 't have the right food don 't bring in these animals. And if that was not enough, the article continues to say “Zebras At the National Zoo Washington DC.starved to death because of insufficient or incorrect food”. This means the zookeepers are not trained well that means animals don 't
Most animals are locked up in small cages all day being kept like a house pet (Keeping Wild Caught Animals - Unsafe, Illegal, Inhumane). Other animals are treated very poorly, and used in shows for entertainment like the circus (Should Wild Animals Be Kept As Pets?). Some animals are also shipped to people, and most don’t make it to the destination alive (Why Wild Animals Should Not Be Pets). When the animals don’t do what they are supposed to do in shows, it leads to neglect from the owners. Some people think that when they get the animal they are helping it, but it decreases the chance of the animal having a normal life in the wild.
Some people hate rodents including mice and rats, but using them for testing is not okay. Horses, cats, dogs, bird and even fish are now used in testings. These animals were just a few of the hundreds used for the research and testing. Animal testing should be prohibited because it’s cruel and inhumane, animals are being tortured while in those labs, and the experiments are wasting animals lives. One of the most important and most talked about is laboratories are inhumane and cruel to a large assortment of animals.
Paul McCartney is one of those people, and he stands up and fights for these poor animals being used to test chemicals. He agrees that the consumers of these products would not buy them if they saw what was happening to animals for that product to be on the shelves. Paul McCartney(2017) once said that “If every cosmetic tested on rabbits or mice had a photo on the packaging showing these animals with weeping swollen eyes and inflamed skin, I believe everyone would leave cruelty on the shelf.”(para.2). These animals do not deserve to live a life full of pain and die in pain from these tests. It is immoral, and
Some of the drugs that were used on animals and have worked, they were defective on humans. Over 85 HIV vaccines have failed in humans. Since this has happened, we have tried 150 clinical trials for humans for patients that we for extremely ill and they had all failed, even though they were successful with these animals. My plan for making this an illegal thing is to make sure that all of these animal testing facilities are shut down. I would like these scientists that work in these industries to have a better job than killing animals with chemicals.
Scientists can do the most fantastic translational research in the world. Starting with elegant hypothesis tested through invirts and biochemical experiments. They can understand disease mechanisms to the individual amino acid level in a protein or molecule nucleotide in a DNA. This helps support my counterclaim by telling exactly how human experimentation helps everyone understand disease mechanisms to individual amino acids. One of the primary ethical justifications for conducting research with human human subjects is to benefit society.
The Suggestion was made that scientists should explore alternative options, such as testing on cell and tissue cultures. On the other hand, Sabin also puts forward an argument in support of animal testing, as her dear late husband Albert Sabin conducted many tests on animals whilst perfecting his vaccine against polio. The sacrifice of these animals has enabled entire generations of humans to grow up without fear of the crippling effects of polio. Animal rights advocates who see animal experimentation as cruel and wasteful overlook the fact that it has been instrumental in developing medicines that have saved countless human
Standing Up for Those Who without a Voice Imagine feeling helpless and being exploited by other people, with no voice or control over oneself. Imagine having no rights or protection under the law. This is the life of most animals in animal testing. Animal testing is the use of live animals, excluding humans, in experiments for scientific research. These experiments generally cause the animals pain, distress, harm, and suffering.
Each experiment will either be for chemical, medical, drug, or cosmetic testings. Many of the animals in the testings will be tormented either to death, or on the brink of it. For example, they will be forced to inhale the toxic fumes of what they are testing, have their skin burned off or have it blistered from the harsh chemicals. The animals are confined in small cages and are socially deprived and physically deprived of the kinds of nutrients they need. In conclusion, I believe that animal cruelty is the worst thing anyone could do to a poor animal, not one animal should be treated that way.
When a drug is approved to be tested on an animal, animal tests are done. If the results show a drug can help, it is then tested on humans. So if we are willing to test humans to find new ways of curing diseases, why wouldn’t we use animals too? The only way to move forward and find cures is to do research. Laws made by the FDA have made it safer and more responsible to test animals, and therefore this must
