ALF and EarthFirst illegal organizations because when trying to stand up for what the organizations values are, they will do anything it takes to make sure their voice is herd.
In this paper, I am going to discuss and explain my opinions on why company Q is or is not socially responsible. Company Q recently closed a couple of stores in high crime areas. Company Q also started offering very limited health conscious and organic products. The local food bank has contacted Company Q requesting day old food for donations. Company Q has declined the donation request due to possible fraud by its employees and has started throwing the food away.

Groups who demand change to government policies and decisions are called pressure groups. There are many pressure groups, following the interests of economics, religion, health, human rights, or the environment. But are any of these groups successful? One environmental group that has made many accomplishments is Sierra Club BC.

The group was created in 2004 by David and Charles Koch. The group formed after splitting from another conservative group Citizens for a Sound Economy. The AFP wants to inform the American people on how much the government spends and regulates the economy and business. They want to mobilize these people to create and vote against government regulations. They support the free market and business and want more tax breaks for these large businesses and corporations thus staughly oppose unions.
The American Civil Liberties Union or better known as the ACLU has been around for almost a hundred years know. The ACLU derived from the National Civil Liberties Bureau which was co-founded in 1917 during the World War 1 by an attorney activist Crystal Eastman, and Roger Nash Baldwin. The focus of the CLB was on primarily anti-was speech, freedom of speech, and on supporting people who did not want to serve in World War 1. Now, during the time of November 1919 and January 1920 there were raids called the “Palmer Raids.” An attorney general by the name of Mitchell Palmer began rounding up and deporting people.
The concept of environmental justice was first introduced in South Africa at the Earthlife 1992 conference (Cock 2004, p.6). Defined as the ‘fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies’ (U.S Environment Protection Agency, 2012), environmental justice aims to shift the world towards environmentally friendly development and eradicate exploitation of natural resources and indigenous communities. Most importantly, it deals mainly with the environmental injustices of these relationships, and the ways and means of rectifying these wrongs and/or avoiding them in the future
Anarchists are standing up for prison reformation movements because they disagree with way the government controls the nation. In fact, they believe that society does not need the government at all. The laws the government is implementing are their ways of protecting themselves and the rich. The government needs to aid individuals suffering poverty and hunger because some citizens tend to steal because they are not receiving help from the government; some gets involve in illegal activities because it is their way of making a living. In addition, children are also committing crime.

Do you feel insignificant during elections? Do you worry that there is too much money in politics? Do you believe that campaigns are corrupt? All these common worries become real issues in 2010 with Citizens United v. FEC: a Supreme Court ruling that will forever be significant to elections. The Citizens United ruling "opened the door" for unrestricted campaign spending by corporations, but most importantly the case led to the formation of groups called super PACs: corporations or labor unions that have the ability to use its general treasury and unlimited donations to influence elections.

It concludes by looking at some of the arguments advanced relating to how success or failure of collective action organizations can be determined. 2.1 What Is Collective Action? Wheatland and Chêne (2015) defines collective action as referring to a variety of actions that are undertaken by individuals or groups or an organization that is acting on their behalf to achieve a collective purpose or shared interest of the group or individuals. The protection of environment is crucial to the wellbeing of this planet. The job of government is to protect and preserve the land on which its people live. However, there is a bill being considered that completely goes against this, one that calls for the eradication of the Environmental Protection Agency, a government program created to protect human and environmental wellbeing through their regulation of laws. I urge you to oppose bill H.R. 861 - the termination of the Environmental Protection Agency - because of the ways that the EPA protects air, water, and land.
