Presley helped set the standard of sales and records from all his hits and songs. After World War II, drastic changes occurred in America, like integration of the South. It was though as Elvis popularized rock music, which resulted in the integration.

The band consisted of 4 legends: John Lennon (guitar), George Harrison (guitar), Paul McCartney (bass) and Ringo Starr (drums). Moreover, “ The Beatles” made a breakthrough in deferent regions such as music, film, literature, art, and fashion. Even after their career ended The Beatles made a big influence on the lifestyle and culture of several generations.

Brooks inspired other musicians and producers from the rock world to integrate into country music. Bands such as AC/DC, Def Leppard and the Cars all made the transition over. In the following years, an abundant amount of rock musicians, such as Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, and Robert Plant have tested the water, even changed their identify to country artists (Ears). However, the shift from rock to country was not the only change in the music industry. Mainstream country artists have even began to incorporate hip-hop and rap into their music (Ears).
The Beatles have made a lasting impact on fashion, music industry and modern culture, making them the most successful and influential bands of all time. As stated in the introduction, The Beatles didn’t emerge to popularity until the 1960s. The sixties were a time of rebellion and self-expression, especially among teenagers and young adults. Additionally, most families did not own a personal television until the sixties, this allowed entertainment industry to influence their audiences at home. Musicians now had to be appealing to their audience not just through their music, but now for their appearance.
Through Elvis Presley's efforts, he was named one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century because he helped create the Rock and Roll era and was named “king” of Rock and Roll. Rock and Roll influenced society in many different ways through history. It influenced many Americans to act many different ways and Rock and Roll still effects our lives today. Rock and Roll all started in the early 1950s. This new genre of music came from a combination between African American Blues and Gospel.
