His father asks why he would want to leave while several people come to Spain and find it a special place. “These people when they see our land say that they would like to stay here forever” (9). This thought reoccurs later on when Santiago reaches the pyramid. Refugees of the tribal wars beat him up. After, one tells Santiago he had a dream at the exact spot that they found him of a treasure buried in Spain, and describes the church and sycamore tree from Santiago’s days as a shepherd.

The final meaning of life according to Hinduism is Moksha or enlightenment. Moksha is the most difficult meaning of life to achieve, and rarely it may only take an individual just one lifetime to accomplish but it usually takes several. Meaning of Life What is life? What is the meaning of our existence? These existential questions were asked by almost every individual alive at some point in their life. Over the years many philosophers have come up with individual explanations to why they believe life can be unreasonable, futile, the will of god, or just simply meaningless.
What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment” (Frankl, p. 108).
