Everyday there are more people killing, more families being torn apart, more discrimination happening in the world. There are nations dropping bombs and children being killed by poisonous gasses. People die because they have nowhere to live and nothing to eat. Now people just care about making money, being famous, popular. We segregate others because they don 't think as we do. We lack understanding and fairness. We lack the most fundamental virtue any human can posses, love. And it might sound so cliché and worn out but we really need love in this world. We 've lost it and we need back, desperately. We need a real love that overcomes all evil, one that makes you better, an unconditional love. I know many people might not believe in the Bible or in God Himself, but there is a passage that explains exactly what kind of love I 'm referring to. I Corinthians 13: 4-8 says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no …show more content…
True love makes you want to be better. Loving makes you be the best you can be for those you love. You want them to look up to you and see that you are strong, perseverant, hardworking, beautiful and funny even. Like the single father that tries his best to make his children laugh and gives them all he 's got even when he has to juggle between jobs to try to pay school, the house, food and the doctors. Or just like the son that tries his best to make his parents proud to call him theirs. And how could we forget? The spouse that always tries to look their best and still gets nervous whenever their lover looks into their eyes and tells them what they feel. And if we all aspire to be better, to be happy, wouldn 't we have a better world? Isn 't that what we want? A happy world sounds unreachable but it is possible if we give off love. Just as Mother Teresa said, "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without
In the world today in many places there's so many dehumanization happening, people being treated like animals, being treated very
Love in the story is like the energy in a kid, it drives the story and the characters in the story insane. For example, in the story love is what drove Hero into dying and will end killing Tara at the end, “Why should you go on living when she and I are dead? When no one remembers our names?”
Love is the cornerstone for every human. In other words, people do not just need shelter and food to survive, but they also need to feel loved to build a strong foundation for themselves. In a way, it is even more significant to have a safety net of people who are reliable and are able to provide care than getting plentiful nutrition. Most importantly, people need to feel loved at any early age. As soon as they are born.
America is falling to pieces: were voting for a president that's simply funny instead of one that could change our country for the better; People are being harmed, not because they have done something wrong, simply because they are being themselves; teenagers are killing themselves because of the cruelty of society and their peers; children are obese and rather play on their parent's smartphone than play with outside with their toys or friends. The people who notice these problems and are trying to fix them are making little progress. Some people are noticing the problems and they will be the ones to change America for the better, although not enough people are noticing and wanting to change for the better so there is little progress. The people who are helping often sympathize or relate to the people being hurt for who they are.
Over time society has slowly gotten worse and worse. If we look back to the 1800’s there was not nearly as much crime as there is today and it seemed that people had more respect for each other. Now a days it seems that nobody cares about others wellbeing, and will do almost anything to make sure that they have everything they want and need. Even if it means hurting others. I am constantly seeing news reports pop up on my social media cites of just another crime that has been committed.
For example, when Remy and Dexter ended their relationship over her lies, Remy’s friend, Lisa tells her that she made a mistake and she noticed Remy was starting to fall in love with him . “Love is needing someone. Love is putting up with someone 's bad qualities because they somehow complete you” (Dessen,248). Lisa tries to explain to Remy that love is important and necessary for people. It’s about having someone to be there for someone else through everything.
Lastly, according to Reinhold Niebuhr, “No nation can ever be good enough to save another nation purely by the power of love. Justice is probably the highest ideal toward which human groups can aspire. ” From this perspective, we must reach further than loving our neighbor, we have a duty to use justice as the catalyst as our highest moral behavior to help promote and understand poverty. This stance stems from this passage of Scripture, Proverbs 29:7, “The righteous care about justice for the poor.” Based on this view we should stop seeking to engage in social justice but instead, follow the example of Jesus which addresses all of humanity’s needs by caring and being the voice for God 's poor and destitute.
To love is to risk. Whether that is risking life, belief, health, or reputation, it is still a risk at any rate to give devotion to another. No era in history knows this better than during the Holocaust. Still, the most unexpected of people would die trying to help Jews escape persecution, they would help others who didn't share the same moral foundation as they did, they would share food rations when they barely had enough for themselves, or they would risk their public standing and forever be labeled as a sympathizer just to help a suffering soul regain his balance. Similarly, Markus Zusak's The Book Thief demonstrates a complete comprehension of how humans act against self preservation and individual comfort when challenged with harrowing situations that appeal to their own personal connections.
Love changes a person both physically and mentally. Impassioned lovers distort reality, change their priorities and daily habits to accommodate their significant other, experience personality
Romeo and Juliet, two supposed lovers, love can often be debated. Their story, written by William Shakespeare, is seen as one of the most iconic romance plays of all time. Many see them as a symbol of love until death. However, the fact that they had known eachother for a mere day, their lack of knowledge in each other 's being, and the emptiness in Romeo’s words, contradicts what they call love. Romeo and Juliet were not truly in love as many say they were.
The 19th century was a difficult time for many women and blacks because of the domination of white men over them. The social and economic hardships they faced in day to day life was a constant reminder of this domination. In the story “Desiree’s Baby” the interracial couple were in love, but they split up because of interracial prejudice, just like couples today. The meaning of true love is to be in a complete and total bond with each other and care for each other when others flee.
Love is such an extraordinary and unpredictable aspect of human life. In William Shakespeare 's “Romeo and Juliet,” two characters of youth, who happen be born and raised in enemy families, fall in love with each other. This supposed love leads to a horrible fate for the young Romeo and Juliet and many others. They fall in a great struggle to share their lives together while the world around the begins to fall apart. But is this love even worth it?
Can you fall in love with someone even if you have only known them for one day? Love doesn 't just happen overnight. How can two people be sure they are in love when they have only known each other for one day. In William Shakespeare 's “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” the two main characters do not model what true love is because they keep their love a secret, they only knew each other for a short time, and they act immature. Romeo and Juliet do not show what true love is because they keep their feelings for each other a secret.
What is Love? If you were to search it up you get the vague definition which reads: an intense feeling of deep affection. But it’s so much more, it has so many different meanings to people. Even wrong meanings that people associate it with. Love comes in many different forms, such as: friendship, family, and partnership.
We don 't love each other. We use the love of evil and power to falsely shine as true love; in order to camouflage God 's likeness and image on the face of every person. We all look like God and must treat each other with the love God has given us. Deflecting We are all acting with our actions of love, tolerance, and hate with all of the people we know, see, and relate.
