Past years, I have taken advantage of his presence. This year, I have promised myself to thoroughly enjoy the fact that I have someone in my life as influential as Cameron. Thanksgiving means differently to some families than it does to mine. Thanksgiving is a day full of gratefulness and love. Without God, my parents, and other family, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
Our Thanksgiving Day On the fourth Thursday of November, Me and my family celebrate Thanksgiving at my aunt’s house because it is just a day to relax and thank my family for whatever they have done for me without being selfish or greedy. We all help today with the preparations. First we get together, then we try to entertain ourselves in different ways, and then we have our feast. We do a lot of fun things, Me and my cousin go buy muffin mix, and then we make muffins. I love going to my cousin’s house in Thanksgiving.
The first thought that comes to most people's mind when hearing the word Thanksgiving is the food you eat at that time. Quite a few people may have some of the main foods that are the same; such as turkey, mashed potatoes, and beans. When I have my family Thanksgiving, we usually eat ham and chicken, mashed potatoes, jello, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and other fruits and vegetables. In contrast, some of my classmates said they eat tacos, turkey, baked beans, and fish. Therefore, not everybody eats the same kinds of
Do you like Christmas décor, I know I do, but before Thanksgiving? The 2 reasons I don’t think decorations should be up prior to Thanks giving is it break tradition and its greedy. Stick around and you’ll find out why. To start off we need to take one holiday at a time. According to www.Al.com it states “ Trees decked out in orange and gold, talk of turkey hangs in the air and other front porches are decorated in….
We set up everything, and just wait until Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Laura, and Malik, Cloud, Scott, and Gary to come over. Once they come, we give everyone our hugs; we play outside, watch football, eat, and have a great time. What is Thanksgiving to me? Well, Thanksgiving to me is when family comes together and spends the whole afternoon together. When family gets to see others, they haven’t seen
Every year on the same day, everyone has a way to spend time in addition to honoring their veterans. My family spends time together and honor our veteran. My parents would always buy me cake and invite my family members who live in Idaho. I would always have a great time with them as we eat cake and open presents. When I spend time with my family and having fun, I think of how lucky I am to have my Grandpa.
As the evening continued, I had come to the realization that I was not feeling all that well, but I was determined to make it through to dinnertime. The family gathered at the table to pray before the meal, and I gazed at the glistening turkey and magnificent dishes before me in awe. During prayer, I
As a child I remember my teacher suggesting that at dinner we should go around the table and have each family member say something that they are thankful for. Much to my disappointment this never happened at my Thanksgiving dinner. This myth made me wonder how the children who's Thanksgiving did not look even close to the myth. Growing up I always had the basic parts of Thanksgiving, Turkey, parade, and family to celebrate with. I wonder how those children who live in poverty or without family feel about
To All HR Employees: Thanksgiving is a time for joy and good cheer and during this month of gratitude, I have been reflecting on the things I am most grateful for. Primary among them is our talented group of employees. Without your commitment, creativity, and high standards, we would not be where we are today and I am very appreciative for your efforts. Thank you for the work you do to make HR great. I wish you a Thanksgiving filled with abundance and bright moments.
“Why Thanksgiving is Important to Me” Thanksgiving is important to me because of my family. I get to see my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Most of our family lives far away, so it is a great time to see them. I enjoy talking and playing with my cousins. Usually everyone comes to our house the next day to play games, watch movies, and eat more food!
For Thanksgiving we usually celebrate it at my uncle and aunties house. Everyone also takes something to dinner for Thanksgivings. Everyone always tries to make in time and sometimes don 't get there at all. That is the part I do not like about thins tradition. After a while we all leave and we go home.

As Thanksgiving Day approaches, several people have begun reflecting on their blessings. I am profoundly thankful for everything in my life, nevertheless there is one thing that stands out from the others. I met my best friend almost four years ago. He has brought loads of laughter and happiness into my life since the day we met. He and I create new memories together everyday.
I refer to them as my sons because I have known them their whole lives and they need a kind, loving mother. They brought food to share, and I, of course, made many lists for this holiday dinner, so as not to forget anything. I included horsdevores, dinner, and desserts, as part of the menu. And again… I forgot things that were needed. I made up another list for my hubby to take to the store, sang jubilantly, “Honey, I forgot to get…” He looks at me disdainfully, rolls his eyes, and says, “Give me a list.” I presented him with my list, wherein, he half-heartedly walked to get his keys and wallet.
