Where The Red Fern Grows is about a boy named Billy who wanted hunting dogs. He worked for two years to raise the money. When he did Grandpa sent the money in.Billy snuck out to get his dogs because they couldn't come on the box cart. And when he went to get them he got his family stuff with his ten dollars. After he got the dogs he went home and started training them. And they made a bett with the Prichard boys and Rubin died. And Billy entered the contest and he got a trophy.
In the book Billy got hunting dogs in Tahlequah because they wouldn’t let them on the box cart. So when Billy got home he started training hi dogs every day until they were ready to hunt. One day while the were hunting Little Aine feal in the freezing water and almost died but Billy saved her and then Billy belt a fire to warm Little Aine up. While Billy was at Grandpa's store the Prichard boys where there. They asked Billy if you wanted to try to tree a ghost coon and he did. But the the Prichard dog broke loose from the rop and followed them and Billys dogs got in a fight with the Blue Tick Hound and Rubin died because Billy's ax went through his stomach.

He takes them hunting every day. They went to Grandpa's and made a bett with Billy and when Billy went to there house Blue Tick was on a rope. When Billy and the Prichard kids were going Blue brock his rope and when Billy's dogs were fighting with Blue Rubin got Billy's ax but Billy grabbed Rubins leg and he feal and the ax went through his stomach. And they had a funeral and Billy went to the contest and because Billy's Grandpa wanted to but another person won and gave it to Billy. One day when they were hunting old Dane died and Little Anne died of a broken broken
This particular dog clashed at Billy’s dogs with bad expectations and not long after, Old Blue is injured and Rubin is dead. Billy Bibbit, 31, of Oregon, passed away December 4, 1958 as a result of injuries sustained in a suicidal attempt. He was born December 5, 1927 in Portland, the son of Mary and Paul Bibbit. The cause for all this was the refusal of John Tunstall who refused to surrender the horses which were a payment for an outstanding payment. Tunstall was later shot by protesters protesting the presence of the posse on his land. Billy was affected by the murder; Billy was treated like a son by Tunstall. He swore to take revenge. Sheriffs were after billy when he was suspected of killing their deputies.
The resources also proved that he was killed by Sheriff Garrett (which was I already knew). The rumors told conflicted with multiple resources that confirmed he was killed By Sheriff Garrett. No information found, suggested that the sheriff and Kid were ever friends. A couple resources contradicted each other in the regarding Billy’s birth.
Billy the kid Had not ever take a gunshot that was meant for hem. He was grazed by 2 or 3 bullets. Also the one that killed hem at Fort Sumner. On the contrary he did graze or kill more than go to hem. Billy the kid got his nickname from a Newspaper from las Vegas Gazette.
After he got his dogs he practiced hunting with them. Then they entered a competition and Billy went to the finals. When it came time to hunt, Billy let his dogs go find some coins. The weather was getting pretty bad and they couldn't find the dogs. They listened and painted to a direction and found them.

As sheriff, Garrett was charged with arresting his friend Henry McCarty, who by now was almost exclusively known as “Billy the Kid. ”At about the same time, Billy had formed a gang, referred to as the “Rustlers” or simply “Billy the Kid’s Gang,” who survived by stealing and rustling as he did before.
People in the area started to refer to him as "Billy the Kid". He then moved to New Mexico and worked on a ranch for a man named John Tunstall. Members of a gang killed Tunstall, which made Billy furious. He gathered his own group, called the "Regulators", and they began fighting with the gang that was responsible for Billy's friends's murder. After that, Billy's group did something terrible, they killed the sheriff of Lincoln County!
The first person Billy killed was a man who insulted his mother. He was bullied a lot and was in a fight when he quickly pulled his gun out and shot the person dead. Billy was now a wanted man. He fled to the Pecos Valley where he was drawn into the cattle wars which were in progress. Billy traveled to Arizona

The next day Little Ann and Old Dan fina a raccoon right away. The raccoon escapes into the water on Old Dan 's head.
