Stephen R. Covey says in one of his books “ I am who I am today because of the choices I made yesterday”. The very essence of this saying makes me ponder over the various choices i have made throughout my life, that define the type of person i am today. Numerous thoughts race through my mind regarding all the academic and social decisions i made, but non strikes me as unique or the one that shaped my entire life. As i take a sip from my mildly warm cup of tea, i delve deeper into my thoughts in search of that moment, which changed the way i envision everything around me today. All of a sudden, i recall a conversation with my father about how to run a business. I recall how he explained a curious thirteen years old boy about the importance of customer retention in a business. The more i think about that conversation, the more i understand how it sparked a fire inside me to achieve something in life. That was my moment of epiphany. My interest in business escalated from there on but not without the support of my father. My father, an established photographer and a businessman, has guided me throughout the five years in the field of business and has given me adequate freedom to create my own values and build a skill set. The passion of achieving something in life coupled with the determination to learn various business skills has led me to be an avid reader and a thinker.
