A different type of hero Someone can be a hero for a variety of reasons. A hero could be someone who has fought an evil that lurks in the city like a cat, similar to movies and literature. However, a hero can also be someone you admire or an everyday hero. My hero is someone who I greatly admire; my mom. My mom is a strong woman who is hardworking, who has learned from experiences, and who has endured a great deal of pain. One of the reasons why I admire my momis because she works hard to achieve what is needed. My mom works hard to get to the top of her mountain and never lets obstacles stop her. For example, my mom continued to work even after she injured her leg. Almost two years ago, my mom injured her leg while at work. My aunt took her straight to the doctor, but they didn’t do much help. The company my mom worked for paid the expenses and promised her a job when she recovered. As soon as my mom felt recovered, she went back to work. However, her job required her to walk from building to building. Since my mom’s leg had just recovered, the distance she walked felt equivalent to thousands of miles. Yet, she was determined to work even if her job wasn’t the best for her condition. That 's what I admire about my mom, she doesn 't give up and she continues to move forward. Aside from being hard working, I admire my mom because she has experienced and overcome different situations. When my mom was ten years old, she would work at a store in Mexico. She would work
