On October 23rd, 2017 at approximately 10:00 AM I, Investigator James Poffel had a victim, Amber Hill, of a sexual assualt come to my office located at Kids' Space Child Advocacy Center to report being sexually assaulted back when she was 3 and 4 years old. Amber is now 41 years old and is having memories or flashbacks of sexual assaults that occurred to her at the hands of her uncle, Steven Wilson, back in 1980 to 1982, when she was approximately 3 to 4 years old. Amber stated some of her memories are more vivid than others. She can remember at least 3 different incidents. The most vivid memory of which was when she was at her grandmother, Mary Wilson and grandfather, Harold Wilson's house. She said she does not know the exact address, …show more content…
She recalls that she was wearing a blue dress with white pokadots on it. Around the neck line and bottom of the dress was white lace. She remembers this dress so vividly because she remembers after Steven assaulted her she was running her fingers through the holes of the lace trim. Amber said the incident occurred when she used the restroom. For some reason she said she can recall her "panties" sliding off of her feet while using the restroom or them coming off and her never putting them back on. She said she left the bathroom and went to the main living room where her uncle Steven was sitting in a recliner. Her grandma was in the kitchen cooking. Amber said she doesn't remember when or how, but she ended up in her uncle's lap while he was in the recliner. She said the next thing she remembers is looking down between her legs and seeing and feeling his thumb on her vagina. She said he was rubbing his thumb back and forth in a gyrating or stimulating manner. Amber said she remembers it hurting and leaning forward in an attempt to stop him from what he was doing. He readjusted her …show more content…

The Natalee Ann Holloway Investigation Several key cases exist that serve as teaching examples to those joining the criminal justice community. One such a case is that of Natalee Ann Holloway. The Natalee Ann Holloway investigation is especially atypical because no one has ever been tried, and her body has never been found. I believe that the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Ann Holloway was severely mishandled by the Aruban authorities.
Queenie Vulopides claims her husband died on the way down the stairs to get a drink Queenie claims her and her husband had a fight before she left the house earlier in the day . The autopsy, and Queenie, confirmed him to be drunk , The autopsy confirmed a head wound in the back of the head, but Queenie did not make any statement about it. Queenie waited for her friends to arrive and told them about what had happened to Arthur. Based on the given evidence, I think that Queenie is lying about what actually happened to Arthur.

Dorothy Rabinowitz is correct in asserting that Amirault family was targeted and was a victim of public madness and obsessive psychologists. Additionally, my belief is that they were only one of the many victims including McMartins, Kelly Michaels and Bob & Betsy Kelly. Due to the massive augmentation in the abuse cases, people began to develop bias and they ended up losing their objective sense of judgment while making conclusions about the suspects and the ultimate goal of every psychologist or social worker including Susan Kelley, the school nurse in Amirault case, became to get a confession or proof of molestation from children to indicate their success in their job. Thus, leader examiner Nurse Kelley used several controversial interrogation techniques on children for long-term repeated sessions to prove that children in Fells Acre Day Care had been raped with sharp objects such as pens, magic wands, forks or knives somehow without leaving any trace of physical evidence; had been assaulted by a bad clown that is thought to be Gerald in a secret room; had been obligated to drink their own bodily fluids; had been involved in pornographic

There were claims on the Manton case study that Dixon had prior history of engaging in sexual activity at his high school, which led Dixon to be suspended twice for the prior sexual acts. At the time of this incident, Dixon was 18 years old, and the “victim” was 15 (Manton, 2005). Following this factual information, Dixon at that time claimed that the sexual act was consensual and accused the girl of fabricating the story because of fear of her parents finding out and punishing her for sleeping with a black man (Manton, 2005). Several charges were suggested for Dixon which included: statutory rape, aggravated child molestation, rape, sexual battery, false imprisonment, and aggravated assist (Manton, 2005). Dixon was then acquitted of a majority of the charges and found Dixon guilty of statutory rape and aggravated child molestation (Manton,

Author Jock Sturges quotes (Sturges), “What pedophiles and people who have sexual desires on children lose sight of to a terrible, terrible degree- a devastating degree- is that their victims are real people who will suffer forever whatever abuses are perpetrated on them.” Very often on the TV, radio and newspaper cover stories about children who are abused, abducted and even murdered, usually by strangers but it is important to know that these are not typical crimes. Sexual abusers are more likely to be people we know, and could well be people we care about; after all more than 7 out of 10 children who are sexually abused know their abuser. As a matter of fact, they are family members or friends, neighbors or babysitters and many hold responsible
