Everyone believes the best villains are Dark Vader, the Joker, or maybe even Cruella de Vil, but this cannot be. For now, let me tell you about the famous and well-known villain, Andrew Jackson.

The 7th president of the United States of America was Andrew Jackson. This man is a villain due to his awful decisions towards the Indians, his hunger for all power, and even his murder attempts against other citizens.

First off, Andrew Jackson was known as a villain because he was the person who agreed to sign the Indian Removal Act on May 28, 1830. Andrew Jackson later decided to order unsettled land to west Mississippi for the exchange of Indian land. The Indian land was a piece of land the Indians very much valued; they had spent much of their time working towards it. And when the land was just stolen and taken from the Indians The Indians were filled with many different emotions toward this event. Because this mean’t they would have to find somewhere else to survive, this led to large numbers of Indians dying along the journey towards new land to what was later called the Trail Of Tears, as stated in Article 1.

We have evidence that Andrew Jackson wasn’t always the kindest, most caring, and most loving president. Jackson was like a lion feasting for food, but instead of food. It was to have all of the power he could possibly get. He often did things he would rather do than allow others to do what they chose. This leads him to make other people do only what he says. As shown in this example, Andrew Jackson wrote to the newspaper editors, explaining that they had to follow his guidelines on how attacks should be countered and how their own attacks should proceed. This led everyone to follow his commands. So it was sort of like, if you don’t follow what Andrew Jackson says, then it is not good enough. As for this, it was stated in written source
