Romeo and Juliet, a classic play by William Shakespeare, is a world famous love story about two young lovers having to keep hold of fate for each other through deplorable circumstances, ultimately ending in demise. The play takes place in Verona and Mantua, Italy during the Renaissance. It is romantic, poignant, violent, and intense. In the beginning of the play, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet’s families are fighting constantly throughout the city. Romeo is highly upset that the one he thought he was in love with, Rosaline, did not love him back. Romeo then decides to go to a party hosted by Juliet's family to see Rosaline. Romeo wears a mask to sure that the Capulet’s don't kick him out for being a Montague. He plans to make a move and dance with her but at that moment he sees the gorgeous Juliet whose exceeding beauty intrigued him. “When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew”( ). Romeo then asked Juliet’s kinsmen if he may dance with her. Juliet danced with Romeo was besotted in so much love. However, Juliet's’ cousin Tybalt sees Romeo and immediately wants to murder him. Later, Romeo climbs the garden wall onto Juliet’s balcony to see her. He tells her he loves her and wants to marry her. Not long after, they were secretly married by Friar in a chapel. Tybalt is still furious at Romeo and wants to fight him. Romeo refuses at first, then Tybalt killed Romeos dear friend, Mercutio, making Romeo so raged that he kills Tybalt. Prince found out about Tybalts death and banishes Romeo from Verona forever. Juliet is devastated from this news, she then tells Nurse to go find Romeo to give him his ring. The Capulet and Montague have been arch rivals for many many years and have been fighting violently a lot during recent times. So going to the party was going to be a problem even though Romeo doesn't care about the family feud.
When Tybalt reappears Romeo challenges him to a duel and ends up killing Tybalt, soon fleeing when hearing of the prince to arrive shortly. Upon the princes arrival he hears the story but will not let Romeo go unblamed. He banishes Romeo from Verona and promises death if he does not obey this. As the party goes on, Romeo has an interaction with Juliet and kisses her. From Romeo’s appearance and being with Juliet, Tybalt’s anger evolves.
After Romeo so graciously interrupts the Lammas Eve supper, Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin is outraged. Because of this he challenges Romeo to a duell, where unfortunately Romeo kills Tybalt. This leads to Romeo 's banishment from Verona, where Juliet lives. From the death of Tybalt, Juliet is forced to marry Count Paris and of course, Juliet will have no part in this. The most stubborn Juliet goes to seek advice from Friar Lawrence, where she is given the solution to fake her death.
Romeo Is emotionally affected by Mercutio's death, his emotions strongly influence his decision making, leading to the rash death of Tybalt. This fight in the streets of Verona then causes Romeo's Exile and death of Lady Montague. Secondly, Romeo is also impulsive causing irresponsible decisions and the death of himself. Near the end of the play, Balthasar, Romeo's servant tells him false news that Juliet has died and that she has been placed in Capulets monument after Romeo had a dream. But they’re happiness did not last long, as Romeo was challenged by Tybalt, a Capulet. Romeo refused to fight him and so Mercutio took up his sword in Romeo’s name. It was then, when Tybalt struck Mercutio and fatally wounded him, that Romeo’s unfortunate fate was sealed. He slew Tybalt to avenge his cousin’s death and fled Verona. Meanwhile, Juliet’s father had made plans for her to marry Count Paris, upon her refusal, he threatened to turn her out.
Romeo was also in town one day and his friend Mercutio and Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin, were getting into a fight. Romeo tried to stop the fight by putting his arm in between them but Tybalt stabbed Mercutio and he died. After Mercutio
There is a shift in Lord’s Capulets character, the loving, caring, and protective father is no longer there. A controlling leader has taken over his fatherly character. Juliet refuses to marry Paris because she is already married to Romeo. Regardless of her father’s threats, due to secrecy of Romeo and Juliet’s marriage, Juliet cannot reveal the reason she will not marry Paris. Lack of planning has caused her to run into a situation she did not account for and now she is faced with being kicked out her own home and disowned.

Tybalt’s short temper and anger against Romeo lead to the death of Mercutio, himself, and then later the suicide of Romeo which lead to Juliet 's suicide. During a party hosted by the Capulets (Act 1 Scene 5) Tybalt spotted Romeo a Montague and told Lord Capulet “Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe; A villain, that is hither come in spite to scorn at our solemnity this night.”. After a duel in the street’s Tybalt runs after he had accidentally killed Mercutio.

Romeo them goes to find an apothecary,which is someone who sells drugs. After telling the man in the shop that he looks poor Romeo offers to pay for some poison. The man then accepts and romeo takes the poison and goes to juliet 's tomb. As Romeo get to Juliet 's tomb, Paris, the guy Juliet was set up to marry was also at her tomb spreading flowers over her grave and paris notices Romeo. Paris recognizes Romeo as the man who murdered Tybalt,which led to Juliet suicide,Paris thinks that Romeo must have come to some dishonor the capulets.
Then the Capulet decided to organize a house gathering so that Count Paris can court Juliet. So as Benvolio came to his cousin Romeo they discussed that Romeo is in love with Rosaline, a numb girl who never returns a favor, Benvolio is trying to convince Romeo to find a better girl than Rosaline, a more beautiful one, then benvolio agreed that they will come to the gathering, Romeo only agreed because Rosaline was there not knowing that he will find someone better than
