Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey? “The six-year-old beauty pageant queen was found murdered in her Boulder, Colorado, home on December 26, 1996.” (Library) Boulder City, Colorado had never experienced a murder ever in their city before, which is a huge reason to why it is undiscovered who murdered it. Since 1996, it has been a huge question as to who killed JonBenet Ramsey. Was it someone in her house like her mother, father or brother? Someone who was in the same loop as her modeling and pageant career? Or could it have even been someone who was just a murderer and was after a little 6-year-old girl. Based off of the clues that were given from detectives on Jon Benet’s case, it is clear that

When John Ramsey and his neighbor Fleet White went around the area to see if JonBenet was hiding somewhere, the first place John went was straight to the basement. Which just so happened to be where JonBenet’s body was found, so that right there raised a huge red flag. The reason for that was because by the time Mr. Ramsey had gone downstairs to the basement, it had been a few hours from when everything had started and mysteriously he knew exactly where she would be in the basement? The biggest part of it all was after Mr. Ramsey had found JonBenet, instead of calling for the detectives who were all over his home; he immediately picked JonBenet off the ground and took the duct tape off her mouth. After John Ramsey touched JonBenet, that entire murder scene was now tampered with which makes anything that was found inaccurate seeing how there is now other fingerprints on the body. “Though he'd been told to leave everything where he'd found it, he picked her up, carried the body upstairs, removed a piece tape from the child’s mouth and placed her down. He even covered her up with a throw blanket, further destroying vital physical evidence." (Lovitt) Tampering with the scene did not help Mr. Ramsey’s case at all with him having a high possibility of being a suspect in this murder, it actually made him look even more suspicious than
New DNA could lead to more clues in the investigation, Biography stated this, “In July 2008, new "touch DNA" technology seemed to exonerate all members of JonBenét’s family in the 1996 killing,” ("JonBenét Ramsey"). With the new technology, we have today DNA can be taken and tested in a couple days of a crime, it is also very reliable. Not to mention all the pressure put on the parents of the family, finding DNA other than their families was a relief. The DNA found led police away from the family, CNN Library stated,“Early suspicion fell on her parents, but they were exonerated after DNA at the scene was found to belong to a male unrelated to the Ramsey family,” ("JonBenet Ramsey"). Since the DNA did not match to any of the family members, they now have to find who actually committed the crime.
JonBenét Ramsey: Unsolved Murder After looking over all of the evidence in the JonBenét Ramsey murder case it is clear to me that the Ramsey family murdered JonBenét. I believe that the brother Burke Ramsey actually killed JonBenét but Patsey and John conducted the covered up. Out of all the suspects that were interrogated he was the only one that stood out to me. Burke was the only person that could of done it.
Including being strangled by a rope around her neck, sexual assault, and other minor injuries. Meanwhile in the case of the unsolved murder of JonBenet, scientists continue to work toward answers using forensic science to discover unknown DNA, observing the unusual ransom note left behind at the scene, and even having theories with evidence of their own for who could be responsible. In the first place, JonBenet
JonBenet was the six-year-old daughter of Pasty and John Ramsey (Saferstein, 2015). This family, including JonBenet’s nine year old brother Burke, lived in Boulder, Colorado and sometime during December 25-26, 1996, JonBenet was murdered most likely inside the home (Saferstein, 2015). Pasty Ramsey maintains after a party with friends and family she put JonBenet to
JonBenét Ramsey was a six year old girl from Boulder, Colorado. She lived in her home with her mother Patsy, father John, and brother Burke. JonBenét was known for her beautiful smile and success in beauty pageants, after following in her mother's footsteps in pageantry. This little girl’s sparkly, fun life took a turn on December 26th, 1996 when she was murdered in her home. Patsy Ramsey awoke around 5:30 am to begin her morning with coffee.
The initial investigation was extensive, however, the killer was not found. Today, the world still doesn’t know who had killed Jonbenét Ramsey or why. People have speculated whether an intruder had killed Jonbenét Ramsey, or someone within the family. With all of the evidence that was presented in The Case of: Jonbenét Ramsey, it could be inferred that the person who killed Jonbenét
the official autopsy report stated that she was asphyxiated by strangulation associated with cranialcerebral trauma. Her death was ruled a homicide by the boulder police that investigated the crime. the homicide case caused a nationwide public and media interest in the yong girls death, partially because JonBenet was in a child beauty queen and was only 6. From
While there are many theories on who killed JonBenet Ramsey, ultimately the evidence points to someone in the family being JonBenet’s killer, including Burke Ramsey due to his history of being violent, Patsy Ramsey because of the evidence pointing to her, and there is no evidence of a
Who Killed JonBenet? I believe the murder was committed by a fatal blow to the head. I think it was a fatal blow and she was strangled. I also believe that it was an accident by Burke Ramsey, I believe he got angry and hit JonBenet over the head with a flashlight. They examined the body and a piece of skull was missing from the top of her head, and a flashlight fit exactly in that space.
She had a fracture skull and allegedly sexually assaulted and strangled with a cord. According to the coroner’s report, JonBenet died sometime in the early morning
Who killed JonBenet Ramsey? Even nineteen years later and police still do not know the answer to the question. Throughout the case concerning the murder of JonBenet there were many suspects and reasons to why someone would kill the young beauty queen. Although the crime scene was unintentionally tampered with and not handled the way that it was supposed to be, a lot of the evidence led back to one suspect only. Patsy Ramsey, was thought to be the killer under the circumstances and evidence found.
I strongly believe that JonBenet's brother Burke initiated the murder and the father John finished it. Burke's mental capacity is questionable due to his jealousy of his sister. At times, he would exhibit rambling speech and admit to the crime. Another factor that Burke is the primary killer is that JonBenet's autopsy
One of very first mistakes the Department made was that they did not search the house very thoroughly, nor did put the house on secure the home and the evidence within the home after the first arrived on the sense. The Police department should have made sure that nobody enter the home, nor left the Ramsey home, before they had the opportunity to search it, and question everyone in the home at the time of the event. With no doubt if the police would have searched the house when they first arrived on the sense, they would have found JonBenet in the cellar of the basement in the Ramsey home wrapped in a blanket. Allowing John Ramsey and a close friend to search the house for missing house hold items, and that allowed him to find his deceased daughter. The Bounder Police Department also allowed family and friends to enter the home,
The murder of Jonbenet Ramsey is a really depressing and mysterious at that. The murder was extremely brutal, she had wounds on her face, a cracked skull, duct tape on her mouth, she was tied up, and she had a garrote around her neck. According to the documentary we watched she was hit in the head with a flashlight and then strangled with a garrote. It was expected that she snatched a piece of pineapple from her brother’s bowl in which he hit her with a flashlight because of it, and she was still alive so it was most likely the parents got in on it because they didn’t want to be filed for abuse and jailed so they strangled her to death and put a blanket over her body, breaking a window and adding a ransom note to make it seem like someone broke in.
There could have been crucial information to the case in the kitchen and they were allowed to just wipe it away like it was nothing. When the detectives were getting statements from everyone a couple of officers noticed that John Ramsey seemed restless. They asked him and one of his friends if they wanted to do a search of the house; they needed to give him something to do to keep him occupied. John Ramsey made a beeline to the basement where, almost 8 hours after the initial call, he found Jonbenet wrapped in a white blanket in one of the rooms. He started to yell out to the others in the house; he carried
