Who is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet? When anything wrong happens, you look for the blame. In most situations, one person, but that is not the case in "Romeo and Juliet", a tragedy by Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet face many problems as they fall in love. But all goes wrong when Juliet is forced to marry Paris instead of her love, Romeo. Out of hopelessness, they both commit suicide. When asked "Who is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet?" you may receive answers such as Capulet due to his forcefulness or Friar Lawrence because he is the one who made the plan. However, the real one to place the blame on is society. The whole town of Verona is most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
