A fact about love is that it can cause an increase in stress and cause poor judgment. Romeo and Juliet are good examples of this fact, as they fall in love and eventually make the decision of taking their own lives for each other in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths because they were spontaneous, a bit irresponsible, and they were hysterical. First and foremost, Romeo and Juliet were very spontaneous. For example, Right after the Capulet party they decided that they loved each other and declared it. Similarly, they didn’t even wait a full day of knowing each other to get married. Most couples are commonly together for at least 2 or more years before they even get engaged. In addition, Romeo had not even had a chance to think before he decided he was going to poison himself after he heard about Juliet’s “death”. To prove my point, Romeo sneaked up to see Juliet knowing that if the Capulet guards found him they would kill him. In addition, Juliet drank the potion that Friar Laurence gave her with only little doubt. That potion could have been poison, but Juliet drank it anyway. Likewise, Romeo drank a poison without any doubt at all. To illustrate once more, Romeo had two dreams that warned him of danger. The first one was for Romeo to not go to the party. The second and last dream Romeo had was a dream that Juliet woke to find him dead. Instead of thinking about the dreams, Romeo went to the party, and he ignored the
