Love at first sight is the most dangerous type of love. The long story of “Romeo and Juliet” is about a boy falling in love, Romeo with a girl, Juliet. They want to be together but cannot because of their families conflicts. Regardless of this they will not let this affect them and try getting together behind their families backs. Later on Romeo gets banished and they get separated but they come up with a plan. The most responsible cause for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is their own impulsive actions because Romeo acted with his emotion and got him banish, they got married, and they would poison themselves. An example of an impulsive decision that caused the death of these lovers is Romeo acting on his emotions and killing Tybalt. Romeo gets in between a fight that wasn't meant for him, but he still feels angry with Tybalt because Tybalt killed Mercusio. Romeo acts by his emotions and kills Tybalt. Romeo shows he feels very emotion that Tybalt killed Mercutio and wants revenge when he says, “Now, Tybalt, take the "Villain" back again / That late thou …show more content…
Juliet had the plan to fake her death then maybe she could see Romeo. She sent a letter to Romeo to let him know about her plan but when the letter that Juliet sends out to Romeo does not reach him, He receives the message that Juliet is dead and he really does think that she is dead which causes him to get really upset. Romeo shows hes really upset when he expresses, “ Thou Knowest my lodging. Get me ink and paper / and hire post horses. i will hence tonight.” (5.1.25-26). When Romeo is saying this he is showing that he will kill himself that night because he would rather die then not have Juliet. This proves that Romeo's actions are impulsive because he is acting on his hurt feelings and doesn't know that juliet is actually alive so when he drinks this potion he will later realize that Juliet is still
A story that is full of love, feud, hate and fate all wrapped into one, until it took a turn for the worst. Love can be a beautiful thing, but it can also make people do crazy things, and one of those crazy thing was Romeo committing suicide for the love of his life. Romeo is from the wonderful, and thrilling play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Romeo had fallen in love with Juliet, and the pair of lovers were called "Star crossed lovers", but as their nickname is cute,it does have a dark side. When stars crossed they will explode and die.
Over time, there has been much controversy about Shakespeare’s work, Romeo and Juliet, over who or what was the most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. As we can clearly see, Friar Laurence is ultimately the cause of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. The Friar was very rash in marrying Romeo and Juliet and should’ve seen the complications in marrying them in secret. The Friar’s plan was also very faulty and he made many mistakes. Also, the Friar failed in his spiritual guidance and gave into his cowardice in the end.
In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the two teenagers fall in love and suffer a tragic ending. Both Romeo and Juliet make crazy choices so that they can be together. But, other characters in the play also make choices that have an impact on the play’s tragic ending. Friar Laurence, Lord Capulet, and Juliet herself have major impacts which give them reasons to be punished. Friar Laurence might seem like he benefited the play in a good way, but he plays a role in Juliet's death along with Romeo.
The Death of Romeo and Juliet The star crossed lovers tried to overcome a substantial amount of challenges in order to live the loving and affectionate life they intended for, however given their circumstances, they were ill fated. In the play, Romeo and Juliet, written by Shakespeare, the couples marriage was cut short due to a series of events caused by multiple characters in the play. Characters such as the couples themselves could have been held responsible for their death due to their reckless decisions influenced by love and immaturity.
Are our futures led by fate or are they led by the decisions we make? In William Shakespeare’s play, "The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet", a pair of star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, take their lives. Their choices led to many deaths and destructions. Romeo and Juliet ended their lives and should be blamed, but so should the Nurse and Friar Lawrence. I think that Romeo and Juliet contributed to their own deaths because they didn’t make good decisions and were very impulsive.
Who is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet? When anything wrong happens, you look for the blame. In most situations, one person, but that is not the case in "Romeo and Juliet", a tragedy by Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet face many problems as they fall in love. But all goes wrong when Juliet is forced to marry Paris instead of her love, Romeo.
For most instances of life, the bystander is the innocent one but, this is not the case for Romeo in Shakespeare's famous 1597 tragedy Romeo & Juliet. Romeo the son of the Montagues, a family of nobility is a passionate and fool-hardy young man in search of love. In search of finding a lady he attends a ball uninvited and angers Tybalt the nephew of a lord of a rival house. Eventually, Mercutio, a companion of Romeo, comes to blows with Tybalt over Romero’s honor and name. In Romeo and Juliet, the one ultimately responsible for the deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt is Romeo, because he should not have attended the ball, Romeo did not do enough to prevent Mercutio from fighting and he did not do enough to save him, finally that Romeo had killed Tybalt in a blind fit of rage.
In Shakespeare’s story Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet’s love story tragically ends in both of them dying. Their love is what lead them to their deaths, but the cause is debated. “Was it Romeo and Juliet’s themselves? Was it fate? Could it have been the rivalry between the Capulets and the Montagues?”
A fact about love is that it can cause an increase in stress and cause poor judgment. Romeo and Juliet are good examples of this fact, as they fall in love and eventually make the decision of taking their own lives for each other in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths because they were spontaneous, a bit irresponsible, and they were hysterical. First and foremost, Romeo and Juliet were very spontaneous. For example, Right after the Capulet party they decided that they loved each other and declared it.
Prince Escalus, I stand before you burdened by the weight of the tragedy that has occurred in Verona. I, Friar Lawrence, a servant of God, humbly accept the responsibility for the untimely deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Although their family feud was partially to blame, it was my misguided actions and flawed guidance that paved the path to your untimely end. First, I must reflect upon my hasty decision to unite Romeo and Juliet in a holy marriage, hoping that such a sacred marriage would end the bitter feud between the Capulets and Montagues.
Have you ever seen two people so in love, they quite literally kill people for each other? In a tragic story, two star crossed lovers have a failed attempt at marriage, even after going behind their feuding families. Juliet, Romeo, and Friar Lawrence are all a part of causing the tragedy in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare. Some people may say that Old Man Capulet, Juliet’s dad, was another big reason for this tragedy, and I agree. I disagree with the idea that he was one of the three main people to contribute.
“Come child tell me your issues, God will forgive you for your sins.” Friar Lawrence and Friar John, the ones you go to for help. Or in this case the ones who will end your life. They have the ones who assisted in the suicide of Romeo and Juliet.
This fooled Romeo and made him commit suicide since he believed Juliet had died. Juliet did the same after Romeo died, killing herself out of
Instead, he offered her this carelessly created plan. His failure to realize its instability and how his actions could affect Romeo and Juliet was ignorant and caused Romeo’s death. Though Romeo was supposed to receive a letter, the passage to his abode was blocked. He had only found out about Juliet’s “death” through a friend. Unfortunately, because he was not informed of the plan, he mistakenly thought she had truly passed away.
Love at first sight is widely regarded as a fairy tale, but two star crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, prove this wrong. They face many obstacles in order to stay together. In the end, however, their love leads to their untimely death. In William Shakespeare’s play, “The Tragic Tale of Romeo and Juliet,” the two lover’s sheer incompetence and lack of maturity is the cause of their death for the following reasons: they were not open about their love, they crafted complex plans to hide their love, and they killed themselves due to ignorance. If the couple showed their love openly, the story would have had a drastically different outcome.
