Romeo is the one to blame for Juliet’s death and his own. It all started when Romeo decided to attend the masquerade ball at the Capulet’s. At the ball Tybalt recognizes Romeo and is furious, this makes him want to fight Romeo. This night is when he and Juliet met for the first time and it was love at first sight. That night Romeo and Juliet wanted to get married and only the nurse and Friar Lawrence knew about the secret marriage. Later, Romeo kills Tybalt after he killed Mercutio. They have to face obstacles just to find a way to be together and eventually have to secrednize their marriage. The characters Friar Lawrence, Romeo and Lord, Lady Capulet are primarily responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. They all have things they did that leads to Romeo and Juliet’s departness. Also, the decisions they made and the problems they caused such as ruining true love.

In the Elizabethan tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, the characters that are known to be adored, can even be the cause of adversities throughout the beautiful play. Many characters could be accountable for the death of Romeo and Juliet. It might be the Nurse, who had very poor judgement, stringing Juliet along in a relationship that wouldn’t last. Would it be Tybalt, the violent cousin, who resented Romeo? Unexpectedly, the person who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet is the carefree Romeo. Romeo is mostly to blame because he was irresponsible and acted expressively.

In my opinion I think that the feud between the two main families, the Capulets and the Montagues, is the most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death. The conflict between these two families is so distasteful that it causes Romeo and Juliet even more of a struggle as they try to find and keep their love. This conflict between the Capulets and the Montagues has been going on for a very long time and neither side is willing to make up for whatever may have happened in the past. Because of this a strong dislike is portrayed when someone sees a person from the opposite side. If the family feud wouldn’t have existed Romeo and Juliet would not have any large reason to hide their relationship. Throughout the play them together is shown as forbidden

“ There was never story more full of misery than this tale of Romeo and Juliet” This tear-jerking love story is known for its, tragic and devastating ending. The long going feud between the houses, keeping the lovers apart, causing the story to fall into a downward spiral that led to Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. All this misfortune led to Romeo drinking the vial of poison, and Juliet piercing her skin with his dagger just to follow her beloved. The death of the two star-crossed lovers is often mistaken for a choice that they made on their own. Even though Romeo and Juliet took their lives on their own will, fate and the long lasting family feud is to blame for the tragic death of the two star-crossed lovers.
