Abortion dehumanizes life to the point of death; nothing can justify the death and dehumanization of a baby. Today, pro-choice individuals try to justify abortion as a woman’s right to control her own body. However, this reason is self-centered and ignores the fact that the life in the woman’s womb is human in nature. This reasoning also puts the woman’s personal interests and comforts above the value of the life of the baby.
The termination of an unborn child should not be legally practiced in the United States. Abortion affects the child that is being terminated, but can also disturb the mother or other family members. The mother 's emotional state could take a toll if she starts feeling remorse or regret after the procedure is performed. Many studies prove women who terminate their child are more likely
A very popular topic that divides the nation greatly is abortion, many think its wrong and cruel, while others believe its correct in certain situations. You can see the effects of this with the government trying to defund Planned Parenthood, Congress votes to defund and the president overrides it and nothing gets achieved. Media might want to portray this as “Men being horrible humans and they have no right to choose what a women can do with their bodies” and attack men, but there are also women against Planned Parenthood, and thats how it goes with controversial topics, media try to shape to what benefits them and their views. Or, they will try to portray it a specific way that only shows one side saying horrific things and not the other . This is called Political Socialization which is the process by which people form their ideas about politics and acquire their ideas about the government.
For an extended number of years, society has had opposing views of abortion, the act of ending a pregnancy before birth, resulting in the death of an embryo or a fetus. Before and during the 1800s, all surgical procedures were risky due to the lack of education, sterilization and hospitals, and abortion was merely a thought. Once medical techniques resulted in more success, abortion became not just a thought, but an option for many women, though the procedure was usually done by illegal practitioners. Because of the newly formed American Medical Association calling abortion an immoral and dangerous act, abortion was fiercely looked down upon. By 1910, all but one state had criminalized abortion except where necessary.
Because of this, her social life is unstable. She finds herself yelling when she should not, isolating herself from the world and even disassociating herself at work. Lisa used to be an extrovert, the life of the party. She yearns for the life she had before the rape. She is hesitant to seek help, due to the lack of support the system provides to rape victims that are not minors, but she knows all these effects could have been avoided if she went to therapy.
They believe that the Planned Parenthood clinic is immoral and has even been called a “scandal-plagued organization” by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), because of their “lack of compassion towards women and unborn children.” Congress claims that there will be no reduction to the funding of women’s health, only that it will go to a clinic that does not provide abortion services. The problem with this new plan is that many low-income women rely on Planned Parenthood for most of their healthcare services, and defunding the clinic would leave these women with no service. Although Republican congressmen claim that there are 9,000 other clinics around the country that provide women’s healthcare without providing abortions, they are still diminishing the amount of services that women have around the country. Not to mention that abortion is a basic and essential health need for women all around the world. Lawmakers are trying to regulate women’s bodies, and in turn, giving dead bodies more rights to their body than to pregnant women.
The word premature birth by definition implies the prompted removal of a baby from the womb before it can survive freely. Premature birth is a to a great degree questionable issue in light of the fact that while a few individuals are totally against it, others trust that a lady ought to have the privilege to pick. I trust that premature birth is ethically and morally off-base. Most women choose to have abortions because the timing was not right or their quality life and situations are not suitable for them to bring a child into this world, in which they become victim to resulting in abortions and forget about their morals humanity “But these quality of life considerations always involve issues of lesser moral weight than that of the conservation
Abortions are sad and unfortunate, but they will continue to happen, that is the reality of the world we live in. However, if we as a society release abortion from the stigma surrounding it, we will be able to begin finding a solution that won’t have to do with the law, it will have to do with being ready to help the women in these positions. Unsafe and illegal abortions are even more sad than legal and professional ones. To reduce abortions, we should be focused on contraceptives and sex education, not punishing those in this horrible
Abortion is one of the largest controversial issues debated today. Millions of Americans have heard about the concepts of pro-life versus pro-choice. Pro-life advocates that abortion is murder simply because the unborn baby is a living person. The pro-choice advocate that the fetus has no rights to protect, because they believe that it isn’t fully human yet. They argue that expecting a pregnant woman to carry the fetus violates her rights.
Parental consent for abortion has been a widely debated topic ever since abortion was made legal over four decades ago. Parental consent should not be needed in order for a minor to receive an abortion. Putting up additional legal barriers to make abortion even more inaccessible just prompts these young women to seek out dangerous alternatives, such as self induced abortion. It has been medically proven that safe, legal abortion is much safer for most teen girls rather than childbirth. Overall, making abortion harder to access for women would force babies upon unprepared teens, possibly ruining their futures and perpetuating a cycle of poverty.
