Women are attracted to men who demonstrate a capability to provide well, it is biologically programmed on their genes to be that way. But this does not mean that every woman wants to be taken care of. This is simply an element that lies behind their attraction to certain guy.
Also the most independent, qualified, capable woman is more attracted to someone who shows he is a provider, than a man who reveals he is weak. This is why a lot of pick up artist's study just what women want.
It is important to develop characteristics and traits that emphasize responsibility, a man should be able to provide not only for himself but for his partner as well.
Here are several traits that reveal this to ladies and that are worthy of seeking out and emulating:

A poor decision making on a man's part can reflect poorly on his status as a provider. You need to do anything with your power to fight this type of wishy-washy behavior. Understand how to trust your judgment and instincts so you can better be able to make a final decision quickly and be positive about that choice.
Overall health and Self-care. If a man doesn't dress well, drinks too much and has poor hygiene, this can show the type of man he is who cannot be entrusted to even take care of himself. This is a big turn off to women.
Sloth. Talk to women as someone having a lot of ambition, or someone with a great job and you'll notice the great difference in the attention they give you. Involve some goals and have a fire under you if you want women to become attracted to you.
Morals. A woman will be able to recognize and sniff out a man who thinks being cheating and being a playboy is ok. Women desire to be with men they are able to trust. She does not want to need to worry about the way you are going to act. She will not trust her heart or body on you unless you show that you have good values knowning that her feelings will be in good
