Trust can do a lot for you in life, both positively and negatively. It’s not an easy thing to earn and with off-campus lunch this gives the students a chance to earn the trust of their parents and superiors. Knowing that they need to behave themselves; students would avoid getting into trouble. Although this is not always the case, some students leave campus and get into trouble without thinking about their future. Depending on the student's’ behavior, this could permanently damage their record or not be allowed to participate in certain school activities.
Why Suspending Misbehaving Students Is a Bad Idea Teachers may be surprised to find out that suspending kids from school isn’t working anymore and we need a better solution for punishing the students. This is because many students would rather be home than having to come to school. Many schools in the past have used various different punishments for disobedient students but the main one has been suspending them from school and activities. This way of dealing with the students has worked for many years of teaching because the students back then knew that they were lucky to even be going to school. In this new generation, kids don’t care about school as much and would rather be home anyway.
Should Students be allowed to eat during class hours? Eating snacks during class hours is one of the few causes of occurring problems to teachers and some students who is not in favor of this. Generation by generation, our working force and time is being changed; including in academics, there’s a lot of work to do off and in school especially to students. Whereas in our history there is still enough time for taking snacks before and after class, where in today there are factors in which taking snacks in the usual time is disabled. However, today eating snacks during class hours has become a norm for some students in their respective schools and the extent to which some teachers also go beyond to bear with it.
One reason I disagree is because it will limit the things you can do. Like most people after school they go home and spend time with their family. That is going out to eat, talking, or just making jokes. But if you have to do after school activities that you don 't like it will make that time shorter and miserable. Hanging out with friends is limited the same way.
All of these aspects sound good for the high school level, however, they can be the polar opposites of how students are treated in college. Students not being used to freedom, for example, causes them to not be prepared for the over amount of freedom given during college. This leads kids to put off homework, not go to class, and other bad habits because they are not used to managing their time. These habits can lead to an unsuccessful college carrer, eventually leading to dropping out. A second example at the meso level is students getting caught up in partying on the weekends or even during the week.
WHY FOOD ISN'T ALLOWED IN CLASS Food isn't allowed in class because it can get thrown by idiots that won't confess to throwing it causing people to have to write an essay. Food is a distraction in the workplace and people don't take it seriously. To have food in class would constitute as a privilege that most don't get because they’re not responsible enough to hold that much responsibility. Food isn't allowed in class for many other reasons not only is it a distraction but it's messy and can get everywhere depending on the type of food. The food can get on your hands then on the materials you're using which in school is gross because other people are going to use the materials after you.
Imagine you are eating lunch, while you are taking a bite into your sandwich your principal comes outside and tells you that lunch is over. You then go for the rest of the day hungry and unenergized. That is what our schools lunch times are like. What are the benefits of having a longer lunch time? Having a longer lunch time allows us to be full of energy for the rest of the day, have time to talk to our friends, and last but not least we need it gives us time to process what we have learned.
But, schools still enforce them. Uniforms should be taken out of schools because they cost too much, they take away individuality and responsibility from children, and take away focus in school. School uniforms can be too expensive for some families. But, schools don’t seem to care about that, as they still enforce uniforms. The first example comes from article C paragraph six, where is says, “Are a financial burden for poor families.” Some families have a limited amount of money.
If we had late start every day then the school would have to push back sports. People would also have to quit sports or not be able to play as much if they were doing out of school sports. Also people wouldn’t be able to do as much after school. Kids would also wait last minute to do homework. The School would have to end school later in the day so we would still be at school for the same amount of time.
On the other hand, Schools with new uniforms face parents and student unable to afford uniforms and the diversity of the student body. Although the dress code provides the students a sense of personal style, uniforms create social equality and reduces the time for students to get ready in the morning making
