The invasion of Europe started when the Nazis attacked Poland on September 1, 1939. The invasion of Europe was when Hitler and his Nazis stormed the majority of Europe and took over the countries. This topic is so interesting to me because I am very interested in the holocaust and the invasion of Europe was a big part of what started the sending of Jews to concentration camps, and I think most people should be interested in this topic because of the fascination and new information it brings to the holocaust, because most people think that the holocaust was just Hitler taking Jews to concentration camps, and yes that was a part of the holocaust but there is so much more to explain and talk about. Why did Hitler decide to invade Europe? What did the other countries do to either fight or help Germany? What caused Germany to lose the war?
Why did Hitler decide to invade Europe? After losing World War 1, Germany was doing very bad. No one had money because of the war, everyone walked along the streets with dirt on their faces and holes in their shirts. Hitler saw his country in agony and he became the first dictator in 1933 and said that he was going to bring Germany back to power. He gathered up the Nazi troops and started planning there invasions,

There are a lot of reasons that caused Germany to lose the war. The first one was Hitler deciding to declare a war on the USA, on December 11, 1941 Germany declared war on the U.S, and this was 4 days after December 7, 1949 when the empire of Japan launched an attack on Pearl Harbor. The other reason was the Germans had the right technology but they used it incorrectly, the Germans were very advanced military technology with superior tanks and jet airplanes. However the quest for heavier tanks instead of focusing on the mass production of one tank left them with an array of tanks requiring lots of different things. Also they relied on forced labor so the quality control was a big
Madison Gross DBQ Outline WWII 5/14/18 Why did the world plunge into World War II in 1939? What is the most effective response to aggression-appeasement or collective security? It started because Hitler was trying to unite Germany and gain land for the people. Hitler, as Germany’s leader wanted more territory so they took it.
Germany had to accept the responsibility for causing the damages. Germany was unhappy with the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. Also, the germans did not like how much amount they had to pay. The amount that Germany had to pay for the reparation were a whopping $30 billion! Germany had a hard time paying the reparations because it was also at the time of the depression after the stock market collapse.
This war started when Hitler ran for president in Germany because saw the opportunity to gain the trust of the people.
PastAfter World War 1 Germany suffered great loss. The Rhineland was demilitarized, the profits of the Saar Province was divided between France and Belgium. German land was given to other nations including Poland. The German society believed this was unfair and wanted their land back. When Adolf Hitler became the supreme dictator of Germany he re militarized the Rhineland and indoctrinated the people.
On September 1, 1939 World War II began. Germany and the axis powers were trying to get Europe to be in Nazi control. With this came the wrath of Adolf Hitler. He believed the reason why Germany lost World War I and had a huge economic crisis was because of the Jewish population, the mentally ill, blacks, and gypsies. He believed the only way to cleanse the world and prevent that from happening again was to exterminate those people.
They were forced to take all the blame for the war. In addition, they had to give up Alsace and Lorraine to France, lost major parts of their territory, and had to pay a war debt to the other countries (source 2). Germany had a huge war debt to pay off, but they had little ways of actually paying it. They lost the land where they got their resources from, so it was nearly impossible to pay it all back.
In the past, innocent people got persecuted by the hands of other individuals because of hatred. These terrible actions started because of the pure hatred, lack of knowledge, and people didn’t fight back. Since, this happened people have lost their lives for example 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and shooting that is going on. “If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate”. Nazi ideology started Propaganda causing discrimination and hate which justified genocide, which led 6.3 millions Jews killed.
After this war ended on November 11, 1918, leaders from the countries made a treaty called the Treaty of Versailles. After this treaty was made, many things happened and the question in many people 's minds was how did this treaty cause WWII? The Treaty of Versailles helped cause WWII by treating Germany harshly in these three ways: Their army was reduced, they lost territory, and the number one reason is all of the blame Germany got. One way that the Treaty of Versailles treated Germany harshly was the way that it reduced their army. After the date of March 31, 1920, Germany wasn’t allowed to have over one hundred thousand soldiers in its army, (Doc B) Germany would more than likely be furious because what if they were attacked?
Everyone has heard of Adolf Hitler and how he tried to conquer Europe. He attempted doing it at the right time when everyone thought that Germany was going to lose everything, because, the national debt and inflation was so high. Germany was so desperate for anyone to help them that Adolf Hitler saw a chance to step up and be in charge of everything. Hitler was very good at acting like he really cared about his people. He claimed to the German people that he would help with unemployment, help businesses, success to the failed businesses, and to expand their army to make them more powerful.
The Treaty of Versailles helped cause World War Two because a handful of countries that were involved in the war got no say on what was or was not included in the treaty. This caused those Allie countries that were not included to believe that they need to fight against the people who were once on their side to prove that they were just as important. Also so the losing country Germany had a variety of punishments pushed onto them for starting the war so they were outraged at the winning countries as well. Germany was the main reason for the start of World War Two in Document B it is stated that Germans military was reduced. They were only allowed to have 100,000 men for peacekeeping missions and conquering frontiers within their boundaries.
Adolf Hitler came to power because Germany’s government was weakened by the loss of World War I and they needed someone to guide them back to prosperity, the qualities and personality traits he possessed were key to being a powerful leader, and he understood the power of mass persuasion and effective propaganda.
Which was 1 an agreement between France, Italy, Nazi Germany, and Britain. [Since] Germany invaded the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia, the British and French prime ministers tried to get Hitler to agree not to use his military in the future in return for the land he had taken. This act was unsuccessful as Hitler invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia, then this led Britain and France to declare World War II. Another cause of World War II was Fascism. Since the World War I left the economy a mess, countries were being taken over by dictators, as these dictators looked for new lands to conquer.
I: Germany waged World War I in 1914 due to their increasing fear of the rise of Russia. Russia had a much greater potential power than Germany due to their sizeable land mass and increasingly industrialized economy. While Germany was widely regarded as the predominant military state in Europe, by 1917, Russia would overtake them. Russia’s future intentions were unclear, and Germany preferred major war instead of a dominant state of immense size and power.
Why Germany Lost Second World War to the Allies? Germany lost the Second World War to the Allies because of three (3) primary reasons: the first reason is that Germany occupied vast track of lands which eventually required a long bout of oil supply lines. Second, while Germany has brilliant military leaders in its ranks, the military battle instructions and orders were centralized in Berlin, and third, Germany made war on three (3) countries (United States, Russia and the United Kingdom) that had better war armament production capability than her. Crude oil and fuel is critical in any kind of war because it is the source of energy needed to manufacture equipment and machines to get the war going.
The First World War ended on November 11th, 1918 when the German government signed an armistice treaty with the Allied powers, leaving 9 million soldiers dead and 21 million wounded. This has lead World War I to be commonly known as the “war to end all wars”. There several key reasons as to why the Central Powers lost the war. Generally, it was a mixture of the Central Powers weakness and the Allied power’s strength. However, more specifically, the Central Powers had weak and unreliable Allies such as Austro - Hungary and the Ottoman Empire which both collapsed, leaving Germany isolated.
