The American Revolutionary War was an important moment in our history as it stood for our freedom from the English monarchy. Many conflicts and battles happened all throughout the country, making it seem as if the Englishmen had the upper hand with their advanced military an naval forces. It apparently did not help them because the colonists and the Native Americans used their weaknesses against them and eventually won their independence from the English. With their independence at hand and the British troops sent back, how exactly did this war get to this conclusion? How did the colonists win this war an outsmart the more advanced troops in battle? With this information in mind the colonists along with the Natives would lure their enemies mostly onto the field where they would obviously have the upper hand. Since the colonists lived in the area they would be able to utilize all the different terrains to create their ambush strikes and very well-coordinated attacks to unknowing English troops. This advantage allowed the colonists to have lesser casualties as opposed to their enemies. Since America had a large territory, the remaining troops would have to wait months at a time for other troops to arrive at the port. They were left with a huge debt because of the war an considered adding more taxes to their peoples. Of course the tax payers were not pleased with the additional expenditures that they had to shoulder just because of the war debts. The Colonists were continuously provoked by all the policies that were sent by the King an eventually their patience ran thin leading into war. The continuous mistakes of King George also added to the loss of the country against the colonists as he further made them mad by ordering attacks against the important figures of each colony such as John Hancock an Samuel Adams.
