Should Children Get Paid For House Work Essay

Many kids are told to do chores by their parents. Some are paid for their housework, some aren’t. Chores can vary from cleaning your room to cleaning the toilets. Some parents think that giving them money could potentially help them learn how to manage money. Others think that they are giving their children all that they need and shouldn’t be getting paid for helping out because the parents already do the majority of the work. Parents and children disagree a lot about money whether it’s that the parents won’t buy them a toy or get them something from a vending machine. This problem causes many dissagrements between the parents and children. I think that children should not get paid for helping with the house work because they won’t get paid for house work when they are adults. I think that getting paid for chores teaches children that housework is something they should want to avoid and money isn't the best

I stated three of my top reasons why I believe children should not be paid: children should not get paid for helping with the house work because they won’t get paid for house work when they are adults, getting paid for chores teaches children that housework is something they should want to avoid and finally, money isn't the best reward and it doesn't motivate every child. Parents already take care of their children and that's already spending money. Parents have two pay bills for their children on a daily basis because they take bathes, use electricity,etc... Parents also buy clothes or things their kids want when they want it. Money should not be important to the child because they have their parents love and support and they need to learn to be appreciative of that. Kids have it very easy compared to adults. Adults do whatever they can to give their children whatever they want. However, the children still want to wine, complain and pout about stuff when they really get to live
