People don’t agree about many theories which states that children learn faster than adult and vice versa .This essay will discuss the reason behind children foreign language faster than adults ,the reason that refute the arguments that children learn faster than others , and suggestion for more effective second language learning. Too many reasons behind children learning foreign language faster than adults, number one is because they got nothing to worry about because there are no responsibilities in their lives. for example : as a child the biggest problem in his life is if his dad refused to buy him a toy. Number two is because they got nothing to distract them and they are still developing in their early ages for example that they care for nothing except themselves and their parents according to Mrs. Silverstein “G 'bye, I 'm going out to play!” Which shows us how children don’t mind anything. Some people believe that adults can learn faster than children but they been proved wrong after studies stated that they don’t care for perfection. They almost want to have fun and they are not afraid to
“Act your age,” a common reprimand we have all heard or been told at one point in our lives. Many people believe that getting older guarantees a higher level of maturity. However, someone’s maturity does not depend on their age, but rather on their environment and mentality. Not all children are raised in a perfect and loving family; some children are forced to “grow up” faster due to difficult family situations. Children are heavily impacted by the environment they were raised in, for it affects people’s mind psychologically, thus causing different levels of maturity in each individual.
Adulthood is a very confusing and complex event. During this event the world seems way better than the childhood, it is considered fun and free. But in the eyes of many it is a world of cruel and unjust society. Why a person thinks like that? Is there any reason why people is scared of reaching the adulthood?
Young adulthood can also be a threatening time because choices made at this time often have a lifelong impact on the individual. What learning tasks gave me the greatest difficulties? It’s easy for me to understand many issues which are related different periods of one’s life. However, I don’t understand the concept ageism, because it doesn’t show obviously in our society.
Whether they is 18 or 80, mah playas can peep theyselves n ' say, "I be able ta improve." Da sporadic nature of one’s maturitizzle level can often contradict tha common thinking. With age, they maturitizzle will stay constant; tha only legit influences is they past n ' mobilitizzle
People grow more as a whole when they are constantly running and testing new things.
They have a drive to succeed and appear motivated and eager to learn. Understanding how adult learners function is imperative for the instructor to understand so that learning activities can be molded to fit their learning styles. Providing education that blends well with their unique learning needs can help students succeed. Rico, Beal, and Davies (2010) discuss different learning styles and suggest that “accelerated students want faculty to deliver knowledge using many different methodologies”. Professor Robertson demonstrated using different teaching techniques for her students as well.
Bilingual Kids have better chances of succeeding than on language kids Learning languages is a treasure. This is a sentence that we know it holds some truth, however we can’t claim for sure that our bilingual kids are smarter than the kids who learn one language. Well, a study has shown that learning languages from a very early stage is extremely important in the brain development of the child, especially in the areas responsible for decision-making and problem-solving. Moreover, as soon as the child gets to 11 month you can start to expose him/her to another language and begin with developing his brain and encourage brain activities.
They are accustomed to or maybe still indoctrinated to the pedagogical style of teaching and they are not yet ready to shift from this notion. In some cases the learner may not yet classify themselves as an adult in the educational setting. From reflection on some of these classes I can see that the types of facilities where Adult Education courses occur are still classroom or school based in structure. This is a small thing, but even changing the physical environment of a classroom can have a huge effect in promoting change in this mind-set. Some texts will define an adult as someone who is: Has achieved the self-concept of being responsible for their own life (Schwartz, Andrew, 2009,
Language is a system of communication consisting of sounds, words and grammar, or the system of communication used by the people of a particular country or profession. Even animals communicate. Birds use sound and movement to transfer information. Likewise human beings use sound and movement like speech and gesture to communicate. Language is the fundamental factor leading and affecting communication.
By the time we get to be adults, most kids have lost that. The kids ( now adults) have
The students will develop pride in themselves and their heritage. Thus, the psychological and cognitive aspects involved in learning of two or more languages in an educational setting, the challenges of linguistic planning and the translation of information across languages is what we shall discuss elaborately in subsequent sections. I shall attempt to provide on the one hand an overview of L1 learning, and on the other hand some ways in which this relates to L2 learning in a
Introduction There are roughly 6500 spoken language in the world today. People mostly spend their life talking and destining and advanced society reading and writing. According to a research done by Harvard University, research confirms that learning another language can have impacts like critical thinking skills and creativity for children. Dr. Pascual-Leone’s outcome (Professor of Neurology) researches the about important first step in understanding the impact of learning a second language and the ageing brain. He has concluded that learning a foreign language can have impacts like critical thinking skill and creativity for children. Next, learning a foreign language can enhance the brain.
