The iron filings cause this slime to be magnetic.The mixture of school glue with borax and water produces the slime. You can use the image of tiny steel chains for example. Each link in the chain is a molecule in the slime and every link is identical to another. When the chains are in a pile ,unlinked,and you reach in to grab one; you only get one.
