Since it is the country’s third most densely populated city, there are lots of traffic jams. Therefore, many people choose to rely on public transportation rather than own a car. Also, the public transportation in Boston is very reliable and convenient for the public. Most public transportation in Boston is run by a company called the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority(MBTA). It runs a subway that covers most of Boston.
