I think it is not okay to racially profile, but I also think it is okay in some cases because you are accusing someone for doing something by their appearance. Also There is no guarantee that the police will catch the criminal by racial profiling. There are lot of criminals that the police needs to catch and with racial profiling the police could kind a get the idea of who or what kind a person might commit a crime. It will help the police catch the criminal faster. Racial profiling can help the police in some ways and in some other ways it can not help the police and could just make it worser. It can get worser because the police is judging by their looks and their action.

It is just the police’s guess that person committed a crime by the way that person reacts or looks like. There is no guarantee that the police will catch the criminal using racial profiling. Some people who are stopped by the police are criminals who had committed a crime and some people that are stopped by the police are not criminals and they did nothing wrong. “By the Police Department’s own count, more than 45,000 people were stopped…, but the total number of arrested made by the united over those two years was less than 10,000.” (“Racial profiling Is Unjust”) This means that the police can not always catch all the criminals by sing racial profiling because not all of the police’s guesses are always correct when using racial profiling to catch criminals. Instead of just looking at their actions and looks, they should have a better proof or evidence ready. Anyone can commit a crime. What if the thought that person committed a crime, but later the police finds out that person did not commit a crime. Telling the person or arresting the person because of their race is mean. They can be innocent, but you are arresting them because of their race. If you have proof or evidence to why that person is the criminal, then you will less feel bad. When you don’t have proof or evidence and you are judging by their actions and looks then you might feel bad. Also if you have proof or evidence then you will less likely to make mistakes on who committed a crime. You can not always rely on racial profiling to help find the criminals.
