He wanted to have Magpie feel safe. Finally, Dog also brought Magpie to the lake. When they looked in the water, Magpie saw that things were okay. Another similarity between the two books is that Magpie and Tricia are pessimists, but with the help of Mr. Falker and Dog, both Tricia and Magpie have character change where they use to have self-pity to feeling confident. In Thank You, Mr. Falker, Tricia is a pessimist.

In my opinion the most key piece of repetition in this poem is the word dog being said over and over again. The way the author is using the phrase “dog” is not talking about the animal. The author is using “dog” as a thing the reader is calling their friends. I think this is the most important piece of repetition because it shows the reader the theme of friendship through the name they are calling each other.

Mr. Heathcliff is the potential landlord in the novel. Mr. Lockwood, who is the potential tenant, reaches down to pet the dogs to ease the tension between himself and the dogs. The conflict of the novel is between Mr. Lockwood and Mr. Heathcliff, and it is about the dogs. After researching and studying this novel, one can take from it that not all friendships are healthy or last long. People are mostly consumed with themselves, as seen throughout the book, selfishness, manipulation and love can all interfere with friendships and cause them to end and not work out. This is not only seen with the dogs, but many people can relate to the friendships that the dogs experience and they can even describe their own friendships in their lives. The end result that can be taken away from this novel is that if someone truly cares for the other person they will apply themselves to that friendship, but they will not become consumed that the friendship will become unhealthy. Can you think of a friendship that is unhealthy in your

I like to volunteer in a peaceful and quiet environment because it will help me gain motivation and dedication. The mission statements of Animal Friends of the Valleys are “dedicated to promoting humane care of animals through education and a humane, pro-active animal services program. They are committed to preventing the suffering of animals and to ending pet overpopulation.” Every animal needs a home, otherwise, we will most likely see a stray animal in the street without food and water, and how will they be able to survive? When I think of this situation, it makes me feel sad.
