With the development of the economy, nowadays, the environmental issues have become a worldwide heated topic. Many people claim that it is always a dilemma between the development of economy and the global environment deterioration. Because of the tremendous terrible destruction cases like natural disasters and global warming, the government has to focus on protecting the environment no matter how much profit is made from the business. The government must protect the environment instead of demolishing it, due to the serious industrial pollution, natural resource depletion and encouraging the development of the economy.
Initially, one of the most significant important reasons why the government should save the environment is the serious industrial pollution. The first point is that the pollution of air, water and soil pollution suddenly cause some fatal health problems. There is no disputing the fact that the pollution has a tremendous surge in the human life because of a long – term elimination. For instance, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), air pollution kills around 7 million people every year and occupied one in eight deaths worldwide

Therefore, people seem to do whatever they want on those natural properties. Nevertheless, in term of deforestation, as Kujinga, Chingarande, Mugabe and Nyelele (2012) presented that in 2005, the total forest loss in Zimbabwe since 1990 was 4,694,000 ha (21.1%). More specifically, within 15 years, Zimbabwe lost one fifth of forest area that constituted about 45.3% of the land area and contributed over 3% of the GDP. As a result, the resource will disappear completely in the near future. In addition, this causes a massive burden on the animal’s habitats as well as the humanity. Then, the natural resource is limit and absolutely vanishes if the people continue to destroy it with no
The concept of environmental justice was first introduced in South Africa at the Earthlife 1992 conference (Cock 2004, p.6). Defined as the ‘fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies’ (U.S Environment Protection Agency, 2012), environmental justice aims to shift the world towards environmentally friendly development and eradicate exploitation of natural resources and indigenous communities. Most importantly, it deals mainly with the environmental injustices of these relationships, and the ways and means of rectifying these wrongs and/or avoiding them in the future
The government has passed many conservation policies to protect animals, eco-systems, plants and trees itself and indigenous people’s way of life, but many of these policies get overlooked and require a lot of extra work. How it affects the rest of the world- This action is permanent, and all of the world is targeted as a potential setting for deforestation. It is predicted that the continuing action may result in very few rainforest across the entire globe. Cutting trees can also be harmful to our ozone layer, which protects earth from dangerous radiation.
Deforestation is a big problem in today’s world and if we don’t do something about it can and will affect us in the future. Whether it’s as big a the world barley having trees or as small as not having a certain type of tree, we are
Pollution in California and World The world should be consider about the one of embarrassing problem in the world it is pollution, many contries have that problem. Pollution impact on human life and causes dangeros diseases and affect the animals and plants. Pollution is risk to human and make our life difficult and it give us serious diseases. We must save our life and next generation live.
Air pollutions rapid increase is not without our help, many causes and sources of this problem are attributed to
Forest protection is a whole new branch related and linked with conservation, protection involves protecting the areas in which wildlife move to. Protection of all life where its marine or not. As well as protection of the parks and sites along with plants in order to reach their maximum growth. Since approximately 94 percent of forests is public property forest management teams have to keep a closer look on what’s happening to the
Air pollution pervasively impacts humanity as a global society. It results in minimized quality of life and initiates instability within the environment . Air pollution causes extensive detrimental health effects on the residents of Southern California, especially on select sensitive individuals, and has significant adverse impacts on the environment of Southern California. The health of individuals residing within the boundaries of Southern California is steadily tarnished by the destructive qualities of polluted air. The effects of air pollution on the human body over a relatively minimal amount of time are unlikely to have major effects on youthful and healthful individuals.
Environmental protection is a major issue America is facing. Many destructive aspects, such as deforestation, pollution, and the emissions of greenhouse gases, are all working together to destroy our once flourishing environment. Although it’s natural for the environment to slowly degrade and revive, modern technology and uses of resources has sped this process to an overly rapid pace, making it difficult for the restoration process to occur. Due to this environmental dilemma, there has been major opposition in who should be playing a larger role, the government or corporations? Corporations are in part responsible for the destruction of the environment due to the amount of pollutants they release and use when manufacturing their products.
Michael Mueller Dr. Ogbaharya POLS 101 16 December 2015 Section A 1. There are many environmental problems that surround us everyday in this world. The Ecosystem around us includes humans, glaciers, mountains, plant life, rocks, oceans and seas. Many engineering developments are resulting in our resource depletion and are ultimately leading to environmental destruction. As our modern technologies have advanced, with the increase in the use of plastic, rubber, oil and metals, our resources have been depleted.
Along with food, water, and shelter, the air we breathe is essential to life. If we do not have clean air to breathe, we will become ill and even die. If we do not prioritize the air we breathe, the pollution tragedies such as what happened in Delhi last November 2016 and the Southern Plains during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s will strike again. Humans’ indifference, attempts to improve their life, or both. Sometimes when people try to improve human life, they end up harming it; in finding solutions to these man-made problems, we must consider short and long term solutions.
It would therefore be more realistic to encourage all parties involved in the process of deforestation to manage the resources of the forest in a sustainable way. This means that the usage of the methods of clear-cutting and burning would have to be eliminated if the forest ecosystem is to be able to remain intact. If certain trees need to be cut down, however, then theses should be replaced by enough young trees which can fill the same role to an equal extent as the ones which are cut down. Here it’s important to acknowledge that it’s impossible to eliminate deforestation completely since the growing population puts a high demand for more land which is used for agricultural purposes. Therefore the solution must include keeping a balance between deforestation and efforts of reforestation, sustainable management of forests and respecting the integrity of protected
Karin 20/08/2014 English 8A Nearly everyday in our lives, we see banners, magazines, newspapers, as well as posters telling us to be environmental friendly and to stop pollution. But do people listen to the advices? Do people realize that pollution is one of the biggest global killers? Pollution is the number 1 cause of death in the developing world; it kills approximately 10 million people every year. It’s hard to tell when and where pollution began.
Government Government is a system of social control under which the right to make laws, and the right to enforce them, is given to a particular group in society. Government power can be held by one individual, a few, or a majority. Government come in different forms. The basic law determining the form of government is called the constitution and may be written, as in the United States, or largely unwritten, as in Great Britain.
Introduction: Our earth is the most precious gift of the universe. It is the sustenance of ‘nature’ that is the key to the development of the future of mankind. It is the duty and responsibility of each one of us to protect nature. It is here that the understanding of the ‘environment’ comes into the picture. The degradation of our environment is linked with the development process and the ignorance of people about retaining the ecological balance.
There are many problems that threatens society and one problem in particular, air pollution is a problem that threatens everyone. Air pollution is the contamination of air with pollutants that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment. It began to be a problem when humans discovered the uses of fire and then the amount of air pollution exponentially grew after the industrial revolution, and is still a problem even today. The largest causes of air pollution are from human activities such as burning of fossil fuels and gas emissions from manufacturing plants. There are ways that ordinary people can help contribute to prevent air pollution and or else face the dangerous consequences of polluted air.
