Athletes need to think about their future, such as family, friends, and their own life. Athletes have been using drugss for many years and will keep using for many more.
However, just because steroids help benefit an athlete while they are on the field doesn’t mean they don’t have any other effects from using them. One of the effects of steroids is that it messes with people’s hormones causing them to lose their temper a lot faster. For example, an upcoming football player named Benji Ramirez played a high school football game that changed his life forever. Benji, who was using steroids to enhance his game, lost his temper on the field and used it to tackle the other team harder than he should have. Luckily no one died that night, however, three days later during practice Benji did it again.
