acquaintances as a healthy, kind person. That is why guns should be carried in campus but only in the hands of police officers and there should be more police officers around campus. For example, at South Texas College, there is security guards but there are no actual police officers. Police officers are prepared for things and have the training needed to use a gun. However, that is not the case since anyone with a gun license can carry a gun in a university. In order to receive a license, the regulations of the Gun Control Act must be followed. The regulations in the Gun Control Act of 1968 have restrictions on who is allowed to carry a gun and who is not. By having all these background checks and checking the mental health of these people
