This was a shock mainly because I didn’t have my field training officer to lean on if needed. I now learned to complete tasks totally on my own without assistance from a field training officer. As I learned the career of a law enforcement officer more and more I found myself wanting more responsibility. I also found myself wishing to help rookie or young officers as they needed or requested
I’m writing to you to inform you of my difficult situation Since I was a little kid, I’ve always wanted to join the armed forces. At the age of twelve decided I want to be in the Marine Corps. At first, I was shocked by how difficult the training is to join the Marine Corps, but nevertheless, this was my dream and I wouldn’t give up on it. My family was shocked by the amount of time I would have to be away from them, but they knew that I love my country so they understand my reason for joining the Marine. One time when I was at the airport to visit my family, and when we were leaving and as I was about to enter the terminal I look over my parents and I see random people waking up to Marines giving them handshakes and telling them thank you
The Naval Act of 1794 established the rank of Midshipman in the United States Navy. Although they had trivial responsibilities, their main focus was to train and become a Naval Officer. These were typically young men from the age of 14-22, but many younger than that served as an officer’s servant or volunteer. The main difference between these Midshipmen and those in modern times is that they were trained
Some of the skills that are needed is to be able to operate state of the art computer systems. The day to day jobs of a Navel Intelligence Specialist is spent going through reports and gathering data to report to superior officers. The time required is 3 to 5 years for and enlisted soldier. When I graduated from high school college did not cross my mind. I wanted to join the Marine Corps and serve my country for as long as I could because both my grandfather and uncle we’re both in the Navy. But since complications happened I ended up in Massasoit. I chose Massasoit because it has one of the best transferring programs and has the major I wanted to get into which is Early Childhood Education. When I applied for Massasoit I did not know much about community college, I just thought that it’ll be similar to highschool which is not at all I what I learned.
My time away has helped me realize, with more certainty than I ever thought possible, exactly what I want to do with my life. I determined what I will major in when I return to JMU. I also established clear career goals beyond graduation. Ultimately, my dream is to become a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Ever since I was little, I have always had a strong desire for justice in the world.
Many teenagers at high schools are being recruited to the military looking for a good education that is free. Even though High schoolers after graduating go to the military without knowing what they will face once there, military recruiters need to be more specific about the military because high schoolers try to go looking for all those opportunities they were told and too many young people are joining hoping to look for a good life their but ends up being the opposite. The decision to join the military is a very serious one that should not be made lightly. Enlisting in the Armed Forces is an irreversible commitment to at least two years of wartime service. Teenagers considering enlisting should do so based on an honest and straightforward
This pre-service training is meant to get recruits ready for what they might possibly deal with once they get out in the field by themselves and learning some things about law that they will need to know to be successful officers. I believe that Pre-service training is some of the most important training that officers receive in their career. According to BJS, the median duration of basic recruit training excluding any field training component was 21 weeks for the average police

Mayland Community College helps with dual enrollment and at the end of the school year I will receive a certificate for criminal justice classes that opened up for dual enrollment. My biggest motivation to go into the criminal justice field comes from my father who is Lieutenant Detective at Yancey County Sheriff’s Department. Early in elementary school I wanted to be a doctor, but as time went on I began to grow more proud of what my dad does with his life, eventually deciding I wanted to follow in his footsteps by going into the field of criminal justice. Over time my love for criminal justice grew into a dream and has become my main goal. Growing up with a cop as a dad helps me to understand what someone is talking about when it comes to this field, and I think my easy understanding gives me an advantage to succeed in turning this to a profession.
I have wanted to be a marine biologist since I was in kindergarten. I grew up being around the water with a beach house on the cape and since age eight, I have competed on a swim team. I am now a lifeguard, swim instructor, and an assistant swim coach. My freshman year I thought I had everything planned out for college. I knew where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do.
I want to participate in a college access program because I was never actually informed about colleges or the topic about if I wanted to. And secretly in the my mind, I knew my hardships and struggles I had in school was worth the time and effort I put into it because my overall goal was to go to a good college, and achieve my dream to become a doctor. Since, I am a first generation college student, I need all the information and help I can get. My goals I carry with me are the motivation I need to go to college, but the question is how will I get there? A college access program is the way to go.
My path to law school has began in my sophomore year of college, now I am ready for the challenges ahead with an eagerness to learn. I have discovered over the years that I embody the unique combination of activism, diligence, and courage beneficial for a legal career. I originally had an interest in pursuing a law degree as a student in the School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University. At the time, I chose to major in criminal justice with the intention of becoming a defense attorney. However as I neared graduation I was not certain about a career as a defense attorney.
My goal for after high school is to get into any good university. I want to major in criminal minds and psychology, also get a associate 's degree. I want to become a police officer. I don 't really have a dream school, but I would really be happy if I got accepted to a university like OSU or PSU. After college I would love to be working in the police department and slowly move up to becoming something bigger.
